Protsahan Puraskar Scheme -
Scheme is for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female Students pursuing NIELIT.

Eligibility
1. The Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) will be applicable for SC/ST/physically handicapped and Female candidates are pursuing O/A/B/C level Courses of the NIELIT (DOEACC) as a full time courses through an institute authorized to conduct the DOEACC accredited courses.
2. Candidates shall have to clear the papers in the first attempt and complete the courses in number of attempts given in subsequent paragraphs.
3. Income of the parents of the student from all sources shall not be more than rs 1 Lac p.a.

NIELIT Ranchi offers various Certificate courses at A/B/C/O level. Admission to these courses is subject to the fulfilment of the course-specific eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for A/B/C level Certificate courses is presented below:

'O' Level/ Graduation/ Government-recognised Diploma of a minimum of 2 years duration after Class 10, followed by one year of relevant experience

B Level

Students from accredited institutes

Level ‘A’/Government-recognised PPDCA/PGDCA/Graduation/ Government-recognised Polytechnic Engineering Diploma, followed by an accredited ‘B’ Level course

Direct Applicants

Level ‘A’/Government-recognised PPDCA/PGDCA, followed by two years of relevant experience
OR
Graduation/ Government-recognised Polytechnic Engineering Diploma, followed by three years of relevant experience

C Level

Students from accredited institutes

Level ‘B’/BTech/BE/MCA/M.Sc/Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/ Operations Research/MBA or equivalent with BSc/BA (Mathematics/Statistics)/GATE (Computer) followed by an accredited ‘C’ Level course

Direct Applicants

Level ‘B’/BTech/BE/MCA/M.Sc/Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/ Operations Research/MBA or equivalent with BSc/BA (Mathematics/Statistics)/GATE (Computer) followed by half a year of relevant experience
