Scheme is for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female Students pursuing NIELIT.
Eligibility
1. The Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) will be applicable for SC/ST/physically handicapped and Female candidates are pursuing O/A/B/C level Courses of the NIELIT (DOEACC) as a full time courses through an institute authorized to conduct the DOEACC accredited courses.
2. Candidates shall have to clear the papers in the first attempt and complete the courses in number of attempts given in subsequent paragraphs.
3. Income of the parents of the student from all sources shall not be more than rs 1 Lac p.a.
National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Ranchi and offers 20 short-term and long-term courses in the field of Information Technology (IT) and Computer Applications. Students seeking admissions must apply by paying an application fee of INR 500. These courses range from 20 hours to 1 year in duration. The fee structure of different certificate courses at NIELIT Ranchi ranges from INR 708 to INR 8,500. The duration of these courses starts from 20 hours to 6 months. For example, the fee for Certificate in Financial Accounting using Tally is INR 6,500.
