No, NIMS University or NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce does not conduct any admission or entrance test for admission to any of the undergraduate, postgraduate, UG/PG Diploma or doctoral courses. Admission to all the courses offered at the institute is merit-based. The merit of the last qualifying degree/ course/ Class 12 is considered.

I will prefer NIMS BBSR for BCA course. In Ranchi University, the BCA placements packages are also quite lower as compared to Naxatra Institute of Media Studies .
