NSHM Durgapur Admission 2026: Eligibility, Application, Fee & Last Date

Candidates seeking admission to any of the undergraduate or postgraduate level programmes offered at NSHM Knowledge Campus Durgapur cannot get direct admission in any of the programme. Candidates are mandatorily required to appear for the entrance examination followed by the Personal Interview (for some courses). 

NSHM Durgapur offers a variety of courses across UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes such as BTech, BSc, BBA, MBA, MHA, MPhil, etc. All the courses are offered by the knowledge campus in a full-time mode.

WBJEE Counselling 2026 will be conducted in two rounds, namely Round 1 and Round 2, followed by the Defence quota counselling. 

Candidates must verify the following documents at their allotted institutes at the time of counselling. 

• All rank holders – Class 10 admit card/birth certificate for verification of date of birth
• All rank holders – Class 10 Mark sheet 
• All rank holders –Class 12 Mark sheet 
• WB domiciled candidates - Domicile
• SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B rank holders – Respective category certificate.
• PwD rank holders – PwD
• TFW rank holders – Income certificate

Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Science, Mathematics, and English from a recognised board are eligible fora  BSc in Data Science at NSHM Durgapur. The duration of the course ranges from three to four years. To complete the BSc admission candidates must fill up the online application form. Candidates must sit for the ENPAT exam followed by a personal interview. Candidates who have passed the test will receive the admission letter via email.

Yes, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is indeed required if you want to secure a seat in the B.Tech programme at NSHM Durgapur. 

You might be glad to know that there is one more exam that grants admission directly to the second year i.e. the third semester of the course. Through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test (WB JELET), you can get admission to some of the B.Tech courses at NSHM Durgapur. 5 courses in B.Tech require WBJEE JELET and the eligibilty is Diploma in Engineering.

NSHM Business School, Durgapur BSc eligibility criteria vary across the different specialisations offered under the course. The common elgibility crieria for the BSc course requires candidates to have Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board and candidates appearing for the Class 12 final are also eligible. As for the BSc in Nursing, requires candidates to complete the Class 12 from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, General PWD 45% and ST/SC/OBC 40%).
