What's new at Calcutta University? WBJEE 2023 exam dates have been announced. The authorities will conduct WBJEE 2023 exam on Apr 30, 2023.

Calcutta University (CU) offers UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes in the fields of Humanities, Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Technology, Engineering, etc. Admission for some courses is based on merit and for some is based on the valid score in the entrance exam. The university is ranked no. 8 under the 'University' category by the NIRF 2022 Rankings. The mode of application at the University of Calcutta is online/offline depending upon the nature of the course. Further, 60% of seats are reserved for the candidates of CU and the remaining 40% of seats are open for non-CU candidates. Placements: Maulana Azad is a government college in Kolkata. There is no placement system available in our college, specially is department of arts and science. There is an yearly campusing programme in the department of commerce. Apart from that the students have to get a job on their own.

Review of Prafulla Chandra College.

Placements: Many students opted for B. Com. It is a 3-year course with 6 semesters. Students who pass the 1st division are recruited forward. They provide training process. They conduct interviews for our betterment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Our college is based on an old British theme with huge doors and windows. The authenticity lies between walls. It is not like private colleges. The library is good. Washrooms are clean. Our college has a good environment.

Our college has good faculty members.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college is almost 70%. The rest of them go for master's degrees and higher degrees. They can earn a higher salary. Top recruiting companies are Globsyn, IBM, Concentrix, CS, Cognizant, Genpact, Einpach, Wipro, Amazon, and CIT. The highest salary package offered is 2.52 LPA.

Placements: Our college did not provide placements as it was only for a degree. Few students wanted to be a translator so they opted for this course.

Infrastructure: There were 2 classrooms in our department. There were no smart boards in this college. Playground was not available. There was a place for indoor games. Hostels were not available in this college.

Our campus life is great.

Placements: Placements are good. The top recruiting company is TCS. This college provides immense corporate exposure to students. It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is excellent. The sports area is good. Our college has one of the best libraries. The canteen is very good. Wi-Fi is enabled. There is unlimited Google drive storage in our computer laboratory.

No to get admission in B.Com in any university you have to pass all your subjects in 12th boards. Then you are eligible for getting admission in any university.
