I would not recommend students to take admission in it.
Placements: Around 20% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs 20,000, and the lowest salary offered was Rs 12,000. The top recruiting companies were Taj and Shangri la. There were not many students who got placements or internships. The top role was associate level in every department.
Infrastructure: The outer infrastructure looks were excellent. But internally it was all messed up. All cheap quality doors were fitted, in classrooms, benches were like of old village government school's. There was no Wi-Fi facility, laboratories were outdated. The hostel was not good. There were no fans, bunker beds provided with low-quality matters and pillows, water supply, and for closet flush water connection was disabled. The food served was not good, if non-vegetarian or some good dish was there in the menu, and it was rationed that only one time it was being served to one student.
Faculty: The teaching of theory part was good, and teachers were also helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. It makes students industry-ready. The teaching quality was average as all notes were provided, and the students just had to mug up those. The passing percentage was 95%, and the exams were also not difficult.

Oriental School of Hotel Management is the best college.
Placements: Placements in our college are very poor and some faculty members behave very rudely. They only provide a few placements, and the placements are all over India. They are not bothered about students' future, and they are only interested in collecting money from students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in Oriental School of Hotel management are very good. They provide well-maintained libraries, classrooms, etc. The hostel facilities are also very good, but hostel food is very poor. But the hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very rude but some teachers are very helpful and supportive. The course is very good but oriental is under control by Calicut University. It is the worst University in Kerala. But the semester exams are not much difficult.
Other: I chose this course because it's a 3 years degree course and we will get a better career from this course because. I suggest improving the college faculty member's behavior towards students.

It provides better campus interviews with practical classes, and skilled faculty members.
Placements: It provides better campus interviews, better practical classes, and skilled faculty members. The placements cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for undergraduates and postgraduates passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The placements cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The number of students placed through the campus interviews is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct interviews.
Infrastructure: In this college, resorts, gym, Wi-Fi, advanced kitchens, and equipment are available. Library and computer laboratories are also available. The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of this college as the students are now focusing on the laboratory, classrooms, etc. while selecting a college. It is important that the colleges have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent, and careful planning at the course design stage not only makes teaching easier and more enjoyable, but it also facilitates student learning. Once students' course is planned, teaching involves implementing course design on a day-to-day level. Involving more honors student researchers, creating the opportunity for interdisciplinary student research, embedding research into teaching, or some other transformational impact.
Other: It provides better job opportunities, nothing to improve, and everything is good. College life is one of the most remarkable and lovable times of an individual's life. Unlike school life, college life has a different experience, and a person needs to have this experience in their life.

My college life was a mix of all phases. It gave me good exposure with amazing memories to cherish.
Placements: The placement cell at our college was pretty decent and maximum students got placements from college to the best reputed hotels like The Oberoi's New Delhi, The Leela palace Chennai, lemon tree hotels, Marriott and The Taj were the main hotels that visited our college. In the year 2013, 70% of the students got their placements with the in hand salary till 17k which was great as a fresher. We also had options to apply else where part from our the hotels that visited. In the 2nd year of our curriculum our year was divided into two halves, where the first 6 months we had classroom training and the remaining months it was a mandate to have an industrial training exposure. We all were given choices and preferences according to our hometowns to choose hotels so that we can stay at home and compete the internship. As I live in Noida I preferred to stay in Delhi and complete my training and hence I completed my industrial trading from The Shangrila Eros hotel at New Delhi in the year 2012. It helped me to choose my area of specialisation and gave the exposure of the actual hoteliers life. We were trainees who worked as normal employees and got stipend of 700rps a month which varied hotels to hotels. It was mandate to work in all the departments, so that we learn their role and to give makes us realise we're we can fit in and which is the best suited role.
Infrastructure: My college was located in the foothills of ooty hills and it was beautiful location to be at. The climate was pleasant throughout with light winter feels in the evening. The hostel rooms were pretty much like independent cottages with balcony attached and room to accommodate three people. We had a dinnig hall which was common for everyone where three time meals were served with fixed menu. The food cooked was fresh and delicious to eat. Our classrooms were well lit and airy with space to accommodate 50 people in one room. We did not have Wi-Fi availability in the class but were only allowed to use in computer labs or after class. We had three main practical kitchen labs in the college for production purposes for budding chefs, in house guesthouse for housekeeping profession takers, reception for front office people and restri bar for people interested in F&B. Library was one of the best places to be at which was huge and accommodatted 300 people at a time with books on every subject to study. We had a cricket ground, badminton court, a huge amphitheater to conduct or have skits with a lovely garden. I enjoyed my stay there And had no issues.
Faculty: All the teachers were either ex hotilers with good exposure of the business with expertise in their subjects. The curriculum designed was common for all IHM pursuing students which had more of practical then theory. The technique adapted by them was a blend of classroom and practical, so that we are able to meet the dots and comprehend. The ratio was more male dominant compared to females but the environment was very professional. We had formal uniforms from the beginning so that we get use to the grooming part and be more presentable. The degree was affiliated to national school of hotel management which had all the IHMS under them and the exam papers was same for the B.Sc. hotel management students throughout India.
Other: The crowd was a mix of all traditions with maximum South Indians compared to others but we never felt unwanted or less important. We had food fiesta, cultural shows, inter college competitions where we compete with other colleges for the 1st place. They keep busy and occupy throughout the year with something or the other. The connectivity issues are sorted as well get buses after every 5 minutes connecting all the major districts of wayanad. 10 km away from our college was Kerala-Karnataka highway.

It is one of the best college in Kerala. It owns best hotel management college in Kerala 8 times.
Placements: The placements in our college are not 100%, but 99%. Most of the students have got placements, while some of them got entry-level, and some of the students have got the higher positions in the hotel industry. The hotel chains in India like TAJ GROUP, OBERAI GROUP, and intercontinental hotels etc., have come for the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is spread across 28 acres of land. The classrooms are different, and we have one library. The college provides Wi-Fi facilities, and we have two computer labs. We have two different restaurants, and more than three kitchens are available for practicals. We have separate housekeeping department etc.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are very good and helpful, and they are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They teach us with the books and practical method. Our college provides world-class facilities. They provide internships in good hotels brand.
Other: Our college conducts every year sports and events, extracurricular activities.

Absolutely good college providing good materialistic education as well as good pavement to students.
Placements: The main attraction of the college is that it provides placements as well as internships to students both in India as well as abroad. There are many training programmes arranged based on the capability of the students. Students are usually placed in properties like Radisson Blu, Hilton, Novotel, Taj, Hyatt, Four Seasons, Raviz, Oberoi, Marriott etc. In the previous year, almost 90% students are placed in different properties across the world. The stipend offered depends upon the property and the place where they are working. The stipend offered abroad is more when compared to the stipend that is paid for their staff in India.
Infrastructure: The college provides a number of facilities to students including Wi-Fi access, training restaurants, library, training kitchen. The classrooms and the campus are well maintained. They provide a variety of food both in the college as well as in the hostels which are prepared by the students and chefs. They have almost 3-4 hostels across the whole Wayanad. All the hostels are not well versed with all the facilities but far better when compared to other college hostels. Bus facilities are provided to students.
Faculty: The college has qualified teachers who are well versed in their subjects. The teachers conduct internal exams every month so that the students can improve their exam skills, as well as they, can improve their theory part. A wide variety of programmes are conducted by the faculty members to improve the communication skills of the students. We have every week production practicals, service practicals as well as front office practicals all of which are the step by step gateway to the main exam practicals. Industry exposure is very much experienced here.
Other: Scholarships are provided to students who have scored good scores in the higher secondary examination. They have a concession in their fees. Every year, a list of events such as sports meet, food fest of varying authentic cuisines, arts fest and many other speaking competitions are conducted to test their skills as well as to improve their potential abilities.
