Everything you need to know about PBS College, Bihar.
Placements: Placements at PBS College, Bihar, were fairly decent for our batch. Around 60% of the students in my course got placed. The highest package offered was around 7 LPA, while the lowest was about 2.5 LPA. The average package hovered around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Wipro, and Infosys, with some students also getting opportunities at smaller firms. About 40% of the students secured internships, mostly with companies like TCS, Wipro, and some local startups. The top roles offered were in software development, IT support, and business analysis. Overall, while the placements were good, there's definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of increasing the number of companies visiting the campus.
Infrastructure: PBS College, Bihar, focuses primarily on academics, with no hostel facilities available. Students typically commute from home or find private accommodation nearby. The college provides decent infrastructure for studies, including Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and spacious classrooms. The library is stocked with essential books, though it could benefit from more updated resources. Since there are no on-campus living arrangements, students handle their own housing and meals outside of the college premises.
Faculty: At PBS College, Bihar, the faculty for my course were generally helpful and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers were qualified and had a good grasp of their subjects, although the quality of teaching varied somewhat between different instructors. The course curriculum was fairly relevant and aimed at making students industry-ready. It covered essential topics and included practical components, though there was room for more updated content and industry trends. Semester exams were moderately challenging. They tested the core concepts effectively, but some students found them to be tough. The pass percentage was around 75%, indicating a reasonably high success rate among students.
Other: For my batch at PBS College, Bihar, I chose this course because it aligned well with my career goals and interests. The course offered a solid foundation in the subject matter and practical exposure that seemed valuable for my future career. The best things about the course were the practical labs and industry-relevant projects that provided hands-on experience. The course structure was well organized, and the faculty were supportive. However, there are areas for improvement. The curriculum could be updated more frequently to include the latest industry trends and technologies. Additionally, the lack of hostel facilities and limited campus events somewhat detracted from the overall experience. In terms of campus life, the college hosts a few events and fests, but they could be more frequent and diverse. The campus crowd is friendly, and connectivity to nearby areas is good. The surroundings are generally pleasant, though more extracurricular activities and better scholarship opportunities would enhance the overall experience.
