Really poor academic experience due to lack of regular classes.

Placements: As far as I know, there are no proper placement opportunities for B.Sc. Biology students in this college. I haven't seen any placement drives, companies coming for recruitment, or internship opportunities for our course. Since I am still pursuing my degree, I don't know much about the highest, lowest, or average packages. Students should not really depend on campus placements for this course and may have to find career opportunities on their own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities for our course are very limited. Regular classrooms and proper academic resources are not really enough for a good learning experience. I also haven't experienced proper lab-based learning or other facilities that are normally needed for a B.Sc. Biology course. I don't know much about hostel facilities as I am a local student and don't live in the college hostel. Overall, according to my personal experience, the infrastructure and academic facilities for this course need a lot of improvement.

Faculty: My experience with the academic and teaching system has been disappointing. Regular classes are almost not happening, and most of the preparation is totally left to the students. Because of this, students have to prepare for semester exams mostly by self-study and usually in a short time before exams. Due to the lack of regular teaching and interaction, it's difficult to properly judge the faculty or gain good subject knowledge. Our course curriculum has relevant topics related to Biology. But without regular teaching and practical guidance, the overall learning experience is very limited. More seminars, workshops, career guidance sessions, and extracurricular activities can also help.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Biology because I want to continue in the Biology and Life Sciences field after Class 12th. But my experience is not really as expected. I feel the course needs more regular classes and proper guidance. Practical learning and better interaction between students and teachers should also be provided. Students should also get more opportunities to interact with professionals, so they can get better exposure and some clarity about their future.
