As I have done my MBA from PIBM Pune, so I can share my experience. PIBM offers various profiles like Equity Research, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Commercial Credit, Finance Quality Management, Digital Marketing, Channel Sales, Business Analytics, Business Development Manager, HR Manager, HR Analytics, and many more. Some of the top companies like Deloitte, e-Clex, Cians, Dabur, ITC, Reckitt Benckiser, TIAA, LODHA Group, Xanadu Realty, CITCO, and many more. With the highest package of 15 LPA and the average package of 6.5 LPA.

Hi, as per my knowledge, PIBM has unique training methods for PGDM, which align with the latest industry trends. The most famous USP of this college is the corporate relations it has with numerous companies like Deloitte, Dabur, Xanadu Realty, and much more. This gives students enough corporate exposure and the curriculum is also regularly updated.

If I talk about PIBM Pune and DY Patil, Both the colleges are extremely good. But as per experience at PIBM, I would suggest you go for PIBM Pune because of PIBMs unique training pedagogies. The students are trained on various top profiles from diverse sectors which are in high demand. The training pedagogy focuses on the overall development of the students by enhancing their communication, presentations, and aptitude skills through regular GD/PI, corporate interactions, aptitude sessions, and more. Even at the time of crises, PIBM conducted 170+ virtual corporate sessions where the corporate heads and industry experts from diverse sectors interacted with the students giving them insights about the latest corporate trends and industry requirements. For Finance Profile students are trained on various certifications and tools such as:

Both the colleges are good at their ends but PIBM is one the best management institute in India, that aims to provides a value business management education to its students. PIBM's MBA finance is the well known course offering various profiles in Finance like Equity Research, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Commercial Credit, Corporate Finance, Finance Quality Management, and many more. PIBM students are trained on various Financial Models, Financial Ratios, etc. Students are given practical knowledge about Balance sheet analysis, Budgeting, Taxation, Equity Research, Money Management, Investments, Audit, etc. PIBM also offers some important certification and trains students on tools like Bloomberg Terminal, SAP-FICO, Ace Analyzer, NISM, NCFM and many more. PIBM has Successfully placed students in some of the top multinational companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, CITCO, Wipro, TIAA, FIS Global, Deutsche Bank, S&P Global, AU Small Finance Bank, Axis Bank, CIANS Analytics, EClerx, and many more. The highest package offered - 17 LPA & the average package offered - 6.5 LPA.

I don't know about other colleges but as far as I know, PIBM is good for Finance.
For the Finance domain, students are given extensive exposure to analyze:

For the finance domain, profiles which are offered are Equity Research, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Commercial Credit, Finance Quality Management, Global Taxation, Financial Analysis, Derivatives and Capital Markets, Fund and Wealth Management, Investment Banking.

But the only difference is MBA is affiliated with Pune University and while PGDM is AICTE approved.

Both the colleges are good at their end but PIBM is one of the top Business management college in India. PIBM Pune is NAAC accredited college and ranked amongst the top 100 B-School in India by NIRF.
