Best in the Ludhiana region.
Placements: Around 90% of the last year MBAs got their placements from the college itself. The average placement package was around 4 Lacs from companies like Vardhman, Times of India, Ralson, ITC, Bajaj Finserv, and many more. Students are offered a wide range of roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college premises is great, with all the necessary facilities provided. Classrooms are equipped with top-quality surveillance cameras and smart boards for a better learning experience. There are canteens at every corner of the college campus, offering tasty and hygienic options to both students and faculty.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very supportive and approachable, with a great sense of today's world and experience. They help the students realize their real potential and embrace them in a way to be industry-ready. The college's exams are a little tougher than the university.
Other: Our college hosts many events and activities to provide the students with entertainment as well. They majorly focus on the students' capabilities and help them to improve in one or another way.

The college is average but good infrastructure and facilities, with average placements every year.
Placements: In the 2024 placement session, 70% of students from our course were placed. The highest package was around 10 LPA, and the lowest was about 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Trident, Vardhman, and ICICI Bank. Approximately 70% of B.Com students were placed in these companies and several others. The top positions offered included junior accountant, banking associate, and tax consultant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course was quite good. Comfortable lecture classes with top-notch technology were provided. In terms of facilities, smart boards for better learning were available. Tech labs were also there. The library was accessible to students, and each lab had Wi-Fi facilities as well. Hostel facilities were quite good, and the quality of food in the mess was also good, along with the canteen food, which was really good. Various sports events were conducted, providing opportunities for students to engage in different physical activities and showcase their talents.
Faculty: Teachers were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They assisted us with all kinds of work, whether it was academic or something else. The course curriculum was also relevant, making students industry-ready. The semester exams were average in terms of difficulty, and the pass percentage was reasonable at 33% for each subject.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The only thing I wished was better was more exposure to the application of topics rather than theoretical learning. Events were conducted every semester, and the campus crowd was really good. There were also plenty of extracurricular activities.

A college with a good ROI if you are confident and skilled enough for your placement.
Placements: In one line, if I can tell you the truth, students get the opportunity to get placed, but most of the job roles are in marketing and target-based positions. They first charge you Rs.3,000 for undergraduate and Rs.10,000 for postgraduates to join their placement cell, which they didn't inform before that we have to join. If we want to benefit from their placement tie-ups, we must join which also covers the cost of arranging guest sessions, etc. An internship is compulsory for everyone to do, through their tie-ups or on their own.
Infrastructure: Classes and labs are air-conditioned and have decent-quality infrastructure. The canteens are a bit overpriced for the middle class but not a problem for the rich. Sports tournaments keep happening every semester. They don't keep a check on the water tanks, and they need new RO filters. Toilets are not always clean.
Faculty: Faculty 8 out of 10 teachers are experienced and teach very well. The course curriculum also teaches the practical application of traditional knowledge. Semester exams are moderate, and 80% of students clear them on the first attempt. However, if you fail, the university keeps failing you until your last attempt, which is a mercy chance.
Other: Koshish, Turf, and Ehsaas are the three events in which different schools and colleges compete for prizes in our college. I hear that the college has a decent placement rate, and good reputed companies come for placements. However, they need to improve the curriculum with digital marketing and AI subjects, as they are trends in the market right now.

Very good infrastructure, environment, educated teachers, and clean washrooms.
Placements: As college is very good, many of the placements are applied, as recently I observed that one student got a 19 lacs package, which is huge, as I'm very impressed with this college. They also provide internships and many other activities.
Infrastructure: Overall, college is very beautiful and spacious. There are my events, and consumer hubs are organized occasionally. All the classes are fully air-conditioned. Food of the mess is also good. Sports activities are also organized. All medical facilities are there.
Faculty: All the teachers are fully educated and knowledgeable; they also help students a lot in their studies, especially in the exams. All the presentations are done properly to boost the confidence of the students, which helps them in the future, and exams are also very easy.
Other: The college is very good; all the facilities are good.

Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: The college offers open placements. You can go and give an interview. Moreover, PCT also has placement sessions in which they teach students about interviews, personality development, etc. Companies are not so big for BBA. But for MBAs, obviously, good companies are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not good. Not good in medical facilities. The gym is closing this year. The canteens are very good; they have 8 canteens on the main campus and for 3rd year BBA and MBA students, there is another campus that has 2 canteens.
Faculty: For students who are serious, MSE's are the best. Presentations are held. Industry exposure is offered. All-over development is done. That's it about my college all over. It's good but could be better in infrastructure, definitely.

Best college in terms of return on investment.
Placements: I am a passout of the MBA (Marketing/HR) 2020 batch. The college provides 100% placements, which means each and every student was offered a job. However, there were a couple of students who did not join their respective companies either because of the location constraints or because of the role or salary constraints, but the college did offer them jobs. The average package that was offered during our batch was 4.5 Lacs per annum. The lowest package was 2.8 lacs per annum, and the highest package offered was 10 lacs per annum, which was offered by Byju's company.
Infrastructure: Although I was a day scholar and I did not stay in hostel, I always heard from my hostel friends that the hostel enables free Wi-Fi. Apart from that, all our classrooms were fully air-conditioned, and for smart learning, there was a projector in each and every classroom. Then there are conference halls and seminar halls for special guest lectures. A library where you can get any book issue for yourself for free because the cost of books is included in the semester fee itself. There are multiple cafeterias on campus, and the quality of food is extremely good. Talking about sports, there is a basketball court, a volleyball court, a badminton court, and an indoor sports room where there is a pool table, a tennis table, and various other facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members at PCTE were highly professional and experienced. Most of the teachers were doctorates, and the others had relevant industrial experience, which helped the students a lot. The college follows an open door policy, which means you can visit any teacher at any time, and in fact, any student can approach the director of the college at any time. Talking about the course, curriculum is very strategically made and shared with all the students at the beginning of the semester. It includes every minute detail, starting from the syllabus to how it is going to be covered, number of projects, relevance of those projects, time of presentation, industrial visit, et cetera. In regards to the examination system, there are two midterm exams and one final examination in every semester. The final examination of the semester comes from the university, which comprises 60 marks in total, and the rest of the 40 marks comprise the two midterm exams conducted by the college and some other parameters, like presentations, projects, assignments, etc.
Other: My major reason for choosing the Masters of Business Administration as a course was getting placed in a reputed company at a good managerial position, and I am not disappointed at all as I am working in a very reputed brand, which was the campus placement itself. PCTE does not only focus on academic excellence but also provides you with ample opportunities to exhibit your extracurricular skills. There are multiple events and festivals organized on campus, where students not only get to participate and show their extracurricular skills but also get to learn a lot about the practical aspects of life. For instance, there is one mega event organized every year in the college, which is called Koshish. Every class has to bring sponsorship for that event, which teaches students a lot of things like marketing, convincing, etc. So one thing that PCT definitely does is make the student industry ready in each and every aspect.
