Faculty: Teachers in the Metallurgical department are very helpful and friendly. One teacher has an M.Tech degree and is very knowledgeable. All teachers provide the best teaching quality. Semester exams are not difficult, but studying should continue. Pass marks are 25, and a pass CGPA is 4.

Faculty: In Purulia Polytechnic, exams are based on the semester system. In one semester, there are 2 class tests. The exams are not so tough, neither so easy. If you study one or two weeks before the exam, you can get a very good result. In my opinion, exams are average, not so good.

Faculty: There are so many teachers in our department they are very helpful and also qualified. They taught us frequently. But some teachers are so strict. They give good knowledge in technical education. Students are quite ready for the industry. The semester exams are moderate to difficult the passing marks is 24 out of 60 (40%). 10 number are for viva and assignment and 20 numbers are given by 2 internal assessment.

If students has good knowledge of their subjects, they can easily achieve more than 85%. The pass mark for every semester exam is 40%.

They prepare students to face interviews with different companies and teach them how to deal with them. Our course is free of charge because it is a government college, but we have to spend some money on semester books.
