As you have already heard that Ramaiah has a good name and fame in overall B-schools in Bangalore, it never get to be a wrong decision for one to choose this college. Placements are going pretty well with almost above 50% being placed. Packages on average for following specializations are, Finance-4.5 lpa
Marketing & sales-3.8lpa
HR-4.2 lpa
BFSI & operations-3.5 lpa
The fee structure has been revised to 6.9-7.25 Lacs for 2 years exclusing accommodation.

There is no gurantee that work experience will fetch you high package.In previous answers I've said that it may give you better understanding in the subjective knowledge.It depends upon how well you represent yourself in interview.For few companies strong academic background is important.Rather than package,focus on organizational learning that you get,work environment and company standard to some extent.

There isn't any international tour as such in Ramaiah. It is a 2-year program solely within the same campus.Currently, the campus has been moved to a new building but everything else is same. There is a slight reduction in placements compared to previous years, but there are set of people who were already placed. Looking for a better career in management, I suggest that you enter in a corporate first and then opt for PGDM in top-notch colleges because you need to invest around 9-10 lakh rupees/2 years here and you would probably get a job, but may not give a better ROI and growth opportunities. Faculty members are good and path-driven.
Aim high, don't just restrict yourself to B-Schools (if you are capable).
