Ramanujan College - Worth taking admission?
Placements: Around 25 percent of students get placed in my course. Though the placement facilities in other courses, like commerce, are really nice, as they have around 65 percent placements. In Applied Psychology Hons, a very small number of students get placements, and it depends on their research and resumes.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is really nice. Classrooms are spacious, but in summer, the port cabins are a lot to take in, as the amount of heat that comes in classrooms is crazy. The quality of facilities is average. There is no hostel facility in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members for applied psychology are quite understanding and rich in knowledge. They are available whenever we reach out to them. The course curriculum is relevant. In semester exams, the difficulty level is average. The pass percentage is 90 percent. Overall, exams are good, and they are not that difficult.
Other: Fests organised are great. The campus crowd is average. The connectivity and surroundings are really nice. We have so many food outlets and places to visit.

B.Voc. in Banking Operations - Batch of 2028
3.2

Average college like other.
Placements: Hii, my name is MD Sameer, and I am currently in 2nd semester. My course is B.Voc Banking Operations, and from my experience, I can say that the possibility of getting placement from campus is average. From previous years, the placement rates have fallen, so keep in mind that the possibility of getting placement from college is not very high. That's why I am also doing other things for my backup. The top recruiters are TCS, Deloitte, Wipro, KPMG, Amazon, HDFC Bank, and others. I like to appreciate the internship offered by the college as it’s good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Ramanujan College is good as it has all things like Wi-Fi, labs, canteen, etc. Hygiene is also maintained, and washrooms are cleaned. For disabled students, facilities like ramps, caretaker, etc., are provided. Sports are average as it’s not very active in college, and there is no ground for the football team, so they have to practice in the cricket ground. Our NCC is very good and recognized at the University level. Our students’ union is also very good as they always stand for students’ voice.
Faculty: Faculty are also average in Ramanujan College. Some of them are good and supportive, but some of them are aggressive and ignore the problems of students. They do not give their efforts towards students, which makes students feel demoted. My course curriculum is very good, but in college, the way of teaching is not as required. For example, in my course, some practical classes are mentioned, but in reality, these classes never happen. Exams are normal as in other colleges; students mostly pass.
Other: I chose this course because the curriculum of this course is very good and ready you for industry. I would wish to make this course more accurate for current modernization levels.

B.A. (Hons.) in Philosophy - Batch of 2029

College life is good, but the college timetable is not good.
Placements: This is a four-year course, and placements are about 10-20% because most students pursue a master’s degree. The top roles offered in this course are philosophy professor, motivational speaker, or school teacher.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi network issues, but the library and classrooms are neat and clean. The canteen food is good and reasonably priced. The college societies are well organized, and you can find your type of society once you join. Many more opportunities are available if you are interested.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and supportive, but some are not. The main issue is the student timetable. This is not as good as in other colleges. The exams are conducted well, and the passing percentage is 60 percent, which is easy to achieve.
Other: I did not choose this course. I upgraded, so that is how I got this course and college. There are annual fests, but no Dandiya night, fresher’s party, or Diwali mela.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Statistics - Batch of 2027

This is the best college for the B.Sc. course.
Placements: Most of the placements are for B.Com Honours and BMS courses, while the education quality is best for B.Sc. courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. The campus infrastructure is in two forms, Port Cabins (Temporary rooms), which are 35 in number, and the main building, which has 3 floors with a computer lab and good washrooms on each floor. Cleanliness is top-notch. The computer labs, a small auditorium, and 2 classrooms are AC-equipped.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and supportive, with special knowledge in their respective areas of expertise. The Statistics faculty is one of the best faculties, even in comparison with any famous college of the University of Delhi. Regular tests and assessment are conducted and evaluated in the best possible way. All strong areas and weak points are shown to the students in order to improve them.

I am satisfied with our college faculty members, but not happy with the infrastructure of our campus
Placements: Almost 70%-75% of students got placed from this course, and 5 LPA-7 LPA packages are given to interns just after graduation as data analytics, bankers, and financiers. The highest package is 30 LPA for this course, and this course is new in our college, so there is a lot of scope in that particular course.
Infrastructure: There are Jio jammers in our campus, but not for Airtel users, and the Wi-Fi facility is pretty good. Although there is no hostel facility, PGs are available near our college. The classrooms and library are fine. There is no AC in the classroom, but there is in labs and the library.
Faculty: Faculty members are too good and energetic. They are so engaged with the curriculum and the college society. The exam system is something low, in my opinion, because there are no strict standards, and there are printing mistakes in our question paper and admission cards also.

Thinking of joining Ramanujan College. There is what you should know.
Placements: There is what you should know. The placement cell is active especially for commerce and vocational courses. Big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Google, SBI and Policy Bazaar have visited. The average package is usually around 4 to 5 LPA and the highest has touched 12 to 17 LPA depending on the course. Humanities students dont get as much placement support compared to commerce/CS but internships and workshops are arranged regularly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is better than that of many other DU colleges. The campus is modern, with smart classrooms, computer labs, media labs, and a well stocked library. Its clean and green, giving a decent vibe. Canteen food is affordable and okay for everyday meals. The big con here is the lack of hostels. So students have to stay in PGs or rent flats nearby.
Faculty: Faculty is one of the strong points. Most teachers are well qualified and approachable. Commerce and Computer Science departments get a lot of praise for supportive professors and interactive teaching. But not everything is perfect. For example, the Psychology department often gets complaints about poor management and a lack of proper lab facilities. Overall, though, academics are solid, and the faculty genuinely tries to help.
Other: Campus life is lively. There are tons of societies Dramatics, debating, music, fashion, entrepreneurship, etc. The college organizes seminars, workshops, cultural events, and fests frequently, so you wont feel bored. The annual fest is quite fun and attracts a good crowd. The crowd is diverse, with people from different states. Students are generally friendly, and the overall vibe is supportive rather than toxic. Ramanujan offers a good mix of academics, infrastructure, and campus life. Its especially strong for commerce and CS students, but overall, its a solid choice in South Campus.
