College is fairly good with its infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements were fairly good. Small batch makes it easier for the college and students to get easily placed. Students are usually offered the initial roles in their respective fields and specializations. College administration itself takes care of the placements.
Infrastructure: All the necessary facilities are available where students can implement their theoretical knowledge into practice. Classrooms are spacious. Traditional food is served. Hostel rooms are equipped with all the basic amenities expected. Canteen is also available in the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are usually young, qualified and are welcoming to help students with their studies. Teachers and faculty members use the basic methods of teaching which includes classroom and labs. Once in a while students are taken for industrial visit to get them exposure on the workings.

Apart from learning from the most renowned faculty, the campus also has top class sport facilities available, it has its own adventure club, popularly known as HEC (Himalayan explorer club) and other recreational facilities too. Though a bit orthodox administration, but now a days it is improving as the time goes by.

WIT is a campus institute of UTU.
Placements: There are very few students get placed in their final year, most remain unplaced or plan to study abroad. Internships are mandatory and must be completed every odd semester, you need to submit your internship certificate to get score on your mark sheet.
Infrastructure: The college hostel has very small rooms where 2–3 students stay. There is no availability of ACs in summer or geysers in winter. Everything is very costly, and you have to pay for every small thing you can imagine, such as Wi-Fi facility or laundry in the hostel.
Faculty: In a year, there are two semesters one odd and one even. Examinations are held in both semesters, comprising 150 marks, with an additional 50 marks for practicals. There are also marks for attendance, assignments, and behavior in the college premises. All these things can make a big change in your CGPA.
