B.A. in Mathematics - Batch of 2021

Overall had a good experience in three years of my life at Rural Institute of Higher Studies.
Placements: It is a bachelor's degree in mathematics, so I do not have any placement. After completion of your bachelor's degree, you must go for your further studies. Along with mathematics honors, they offer C+ language and this an algo at a basic level, which is useful for M.Sc. in mathematics and computing or MCA courses.
Infrastructure: We have labs for every department. It is situated in rural areas, so there is no free Wi-Fi for students. I recommend it to every student of RIHS college. You must go for your degree, which must be helpful for your higher studies.
Faculty: Teachers are very intelligent and cooperative. Our syllabus is designed in a productive way which helps you in further studies. The Bachelor's course is very relevant to your further studies. Semesters use a percentage system, so it's not difficult if you study hard and get 50% in your honors paper. Here faculties are very helpful and cooperative.
Other: Every year, college organises annual sports and an annual fest. I chose mathematics honors for my further studies and I am currently doing an M.Sc. in mathematics and computing science.

RIHS is the best college ever.
Placements: There was no placement directly after completion of the degree. Students usually go for higher studies like B.Ed. The maximum students were placed as lecturers. Many more jobs were available in the private sector, and some government jobs. Some are likely to prepare for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: College had a great infrastructure. Students were provided a professional lab, Wi-Fi enabled library, big BCR room, and a great classroom. The college had a dedicated separate hostel for both boys and girls. The hostel includes a hygienic canteen. A variety of different foods were available. Emergency medical facilities were available. Hostel has a massive playground behind it, where cricket and football were played.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified. They were all selected through the government placement process and a interview. They had massive knowledge about their respective subject. The curriculum lacks direct placement opportunities, but it was job ready. Students were skilled for placement in industry. Semester examinations were quite easy, and pass percentage was 33%.
Other: My parents suggested me go for this course. I have more interest in Chemistry too. Chemistry is my likely subject, and I have more options in the future. I think the course can be taught in a more practical way for better results and understanding. We use the lab a few times. After all, college celebrates different events at different times. College annual fest happens and on a massive scale. Colleges have a broad range of connectivity. Laxmi bus facility of Odisha is also provided. The students got all types of gov and private scholarships.
