The upper packages are usually in the INR 3-4 LPA range, with a few students obtaining even above packages in metro cities based on skills and experience. The the highest has been placed in the package is INR 4.5 Lacs per annum while the average campus placement has been INR 2.8 Lacs per annum. Healthcare, Colleges, universities, and research centers appear as the leading hiring companies for Librarians, Information Officers, and Documentation Officers. The employment statistics reveal that up to 80% of the student are placed in reputed organizations when they can register themselves despite stiff competition, within 6 months of passing their finals, 70% of them go in search of employment while 20-30% go for higher studies.

No, it is not easy to get admission because it's competitive due to the limited availability of seats. If talking about the Life Science Course, only 8 seats are allocated and the admission process is primarily merit-based which is evaluated by performance in prior academic qualifications, particularly the marks from the +2 Council Examination marks. A student needs to fill Common Application Form (CAF) while applying for admission and also needs to select a maximum of 10 colleges or streams. While filling up the CAF, you need to submit your details and educational details. Since the selection is made on a merit basis, it is competitive to get admission.
