Short yet life-changing and thought-provoking experience from 2019 to 2022.
Placements: We were there during the time of the recent coronavirus pandemic, so comparatively, we had fewer students in the college. Justdial company came to recruit. About only 10 classmates went for the internship. Political Science itself did not attract many companies. However, we got to experience our own radio channel, Salesian Radio.
Infrastructure: We got to experience the biggest library in the district, Darjeeling. Even though there was a poor connection, our college provided Wi-Fi facilities. We had a research lab for thesis courses. The canteen had good food available.
Faculty: We had a highly qualified teacher. The quality of teaching was up to the mark, the teachers were hardworking and inspirational, and most teachers were government job aspirants. The relevance of the course was justifiable. Only that the students may not be for industry since it's a Bachelor of Arts. The difficulty for exams was moderate if we committed time, effort, and were responsible. Semester exams were helpful. The pass percentage was 36%. We had about 60 teaching staff.
Other: I chose Political Science since it's analytical as well as timely. International Relations, which was included in our course, was an important tool in today's scenario of world politics. The best things about the course in Political Science were how it prepared students for real-life problems, as well as debates. Political Science, however, needed some improvement in the theoretical part, which made most students not choose it for higher studies. We had an annual sports meet, radio club programmes, Salesian Fest, and National Service Scheme. The Scholarship programme could be enjoyed by students securing more than 70% marks.

The college was very satisfactory as you could have lots of fun.
Placements: The students were 49 when I joined the college, but most left, leaving about 29 by the end. The highest package was 25,000 for a semester, and the lowest was 15,000. We do not get internships from our college, except for some courses.
Infrastructure: The facilities for students are top-class, and the infrastructure is excellent, providing advantages like a huge library, playground, and modern washrooms. However, the hostel I stayed in was very poor, accommodating 50 students with the worst food available due to the large number of students being fed at once. There were no medical facilities or sports and games provided in the hostel, making it the worst hostel I have ever stayed in, though it was costly due to its proximity to the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers were the most qualified employed on campus and were the best any college could have. They helped with everything, including personal issues like financial problems. The semester exams were not that tough, but the questions were very confusing. However, the papers were easy, and anyone could score well if they studied thoroughly. The overall pass percentage was 32% after averaging all subjects.
Other: The Sociology Honours course was the easiest of all subjects as it deals with society and social issues, making it easy to understand rather than memorizing for exams. I chose this subject because I had been learning about sociology since class 4. I would like to reduce the course's vastness. There are many events in our college, including football, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, dance, and singing, with most students participating. Nearly 500-800 students attend all the events and activities held in the college.

Absolutely satisfied because of the facilities and decent placements in 2022.
Placements: 40% percent of students were placed in my course, 75% percent of students got internship from our course in the cord Siliguri times, etc. There wasn't any top company for recruiting but decent company came up there for the students and it's average for freshers.
Infrastructure: Top facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, Hall, field, etc. Top quality of the facilities in our hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with decent qualities. Nope, this course Does not make the students industry ready semester are not so difficult if students are steady in class and attentive case everything comes within syllabus.
Other: I choose this course for my betterment of communication and skills but not worthy. Hope the faculty better be improved. But Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities, etc. Are always the best.
