I don't think Christ is AICTE recognized. It is a private deemed University under UGC. However, it is accredited by NAAC with grade A.

Around 8 to 12 students participate in a single GD round. It is supervised by the faculty members. It will be competitive of course but as long as you have content, you can do well.

I do know of people who are doing MBA after correspondence UG program. So, it shouldn't be a problem.
