Jangipur NTS is the best government nursing institution in Murshidabad.

Placements: I worked in a hospital after passing out. It was in Berhampore with a salary of Rs. 10,000 and they provided food and accommodation. I worked as a nursing staff. A nurse had many roles to perform, such as community nurse, psychiatric nurse, surgical nurse, medical nurse, OT nurse, and pediatric nurse.

Infrastructure: They provided a hostel with the best environment, and bathrooms were clean. The hostel fee was 12 rupees per month. The room was sufficient to stay in, with 3 beds, 2 almirahs, a table, and a chair. There was a mango tree inside the hostel, and we enjoyed the view.

Faculty: Teachers were very talented, friendly, and beautiful. They taught us both clinically and theoretically. They used projectors and live demonstrations of procedures and helped us in practice. They assigned us duties in the ward, community, and hostel as well.

Other: GNM course was a nursing diploma course.
