Compared to other colleges, they were having a really good number of companies visiting the campus for recruiting good talents for their organisation.

My college is a good college with good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is almost 50% from our previous batches, and currently, we are undergoing placements. We still don't know the top companies that include IBM, Infosys, etc. Some students have also attended internships. The salary package offers included 6 LPA, 4 LPA, etc.
Infrastructure: I myself am not a hosteler; I am a day scholar, so I don’t really know from my own experience about the hostel. From what I know from friends, the hostel is not very bad. The food can be improved a little. The labs and all the other facilities are okay on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is really good. They are qualified and have a good relationship with the students. The quality of teaching is good. The curriculum can be a little better, but it is not the college's decision, so it is not a problem. The semester exams, if studied, can be passed.
Other: I chose CSE because it was better compared to other branches at the time of joining, and I love CSE. So that's why I wish that if we had more technical hours rather than just normal theory, then it would be great.

Do not expect any college fests, as they are more oriented towards classroom life.
Placements: I am a final year CSE student. I think that only a handful of students have been placed so far. The highest package offered is 7-8 LPA, and the lowest would be 2-3 LPA, with an average of 4-5 LPA. We had registered for companies like Microsoft, etc. No tests were conducted. To be honest, I have no idea about people who are going for internships, but there's a lot of off-campus recruitment available. The software development role would be the highest.
Infrastructure: We have one of the best libraries in Kerala, so that is a plus. We have labs for every department's needs and Wi-Fi as well. Classrooms are okayish and also have a projector. To be honest, I'm not sure about the hostel because I'm a day scholar. The canteen was good, but now it is very bad. Separating students as hostelers and day scholars so we can't eat together. Also, food ain't that good either. Medical facilities are not available, but there's a hospital nearby. Sports and games are going great, tho.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and cooperative in my opinion, but not all students would agree, tho, especially other CSE classes and other departments as well. Not sure about industry-ready, but it helps prepare for aptitude tests and interviews. Exams can be made easier with the previous year's question papers. The pass percentage of our department would be around 80.

My college has a good infrastructure and a library that provides the best faculty.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of the students were placed from my college. The lowest package would be 2.5 LPA, and the highest would vary from person to person. An average package is about 4 LPA. Infosys, TCS, and IBM are some of the major companies hiring at our college.
Infrastructure: College has a very good infrastructure, and the facilities are all very prominent. The hostel is also very good with friendly wardens. The faculty is not strict and helps you throughout the procedures in the college. The food is good. Sports and games have no shortage.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and professional. They help everyone without any segregation. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes any student ready for the industry. The exams are moderate level, it's the KTU exam with a consistent syllabus.

Nice college, but it can be improved infrastructure-wise, placements are less this year.
Placements: This year, the placements are a little dull. Maybe because of the industry some companies are coming but still I feel like it's a lot less when compared to previous years. Some companies, like IBM and Infosys, have come up with some other companies, too. But the thing is, they are taking very few people.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-maintained and clean, with all facilities available. The library is pretty good. The food available at the canteen is also good. One thing is that the college infrastructure can be improved so that it becomes more attractive and better.
Faculty: Faculty is good. But the curriculum is kind of hectic, which is not an issue from the college side but from the university. Programs are comparatively fewer here. The staff support you mostly, but everything gets hectic during the semester's end. Overall good but can be improved.

Review regarding placement support, adequate facilities and the infrastructure of our college.
Placements: We have started receiving on-campus placement opportunities from IBM, Infosys, EY and other companies. I think the highest packages we get can amount to 8 LPA or at most 10 LPA, as far as I know. The lowest package, I think, was from Sutherland, for 2 LPA. Internship drives are not very common, we usually get them done ourselves. Various roles we get offered by companies are mainly Software developers, Software engineers, or developer-level entries. Last year, we had our seniors get placed into even Amazon, EY, etc.
Infrastructure: There are labs for different departments in our college, including a newly built lab for the Data Science and AI department. Our college library houses various kinds of academic materials, textbooks, and other books. There is an air conditioning facility in our library and in most of our computer labs. All classrooms have projectors. Hostel rooms are average, with hostelers getting access to a small gym, and the quality of food in the mess or canteen is actually better compared to other colleges. Our college sports team has won prizes in university-level championships for kabaddi, table tennis, volleyball, athletics, etc.
Faculty: Our college is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum. Teachers are quite educated, with our Computer Science dean getting into the list of world's top 2% scientists in the Standard University, for like 3 times in a row. Teachers also take part in courses as prescribed by the university. The course curriculum is relevant, and the syllabus keeps updating every 4 years. The new scheme is better compared to our scheme. Pass percentages are quite satisfactory.
Other: I wish the university would include more industry-oriented teaching or curriculum in our syllabus. The syllabus is designed by the university, and not our college. There are college events, but not always.

Great campus life, supportive faculty, good placements, and excellent facilities at SSET.
Placements: I'm from B.Tech computer science (2021-2025 batch). The placement record is impressive with around 85 percent of students placed. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is around 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, and UST Global. About 60 percent of students received internships in reputed companies. The placement cell has excellent support through training sessions, aptitude classes, and mock interviews ensuring students are well-prepared. Placements are consistent. Most students got good roles such as software developer, analyst, or system engineer.
Infrastructure: SSET has a beautiful campus with modern facilities. Classrooms are spacious and have smart boards and Wi-Fi. The computer labs are well-maintained and updated with the latest software. The library is large, peaceful, and has both printed and digital resources. Hostel life is comfortable. Rooms are neat. There's 24-hour security and power backup. The mess food is average but hygienic and there are nearby canteens with better options. Sports facilities like football, basketball, and indoor games are great for recreation. The medical room and campus cleanliness are well taken care of making it a pleasant place to stay.
Faculty: The faculty at SSET are very supportive and knowledgeable. Most professors are qualified and approachable for both academic and personal guidance. The teaching quality is excellent with a good balance between theory and practical sessions. The curriculum is updated regularly to include trending technologies like AI, Data Science, and IoT, keeping students in sync with industry needs. Semester exams are moderately challenging but manageable with consistent study. Internal tests and assignments help in maintaining focus throughout the semester. The overall pass percentage is quite high and teachers ensure every student understands the concepts thoroughly before exams.
