B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2023
4.6

SECE is the best for good placements from the beginning and eco-friendly surroundings.
Placements: In our batch of 2023, around 300 students, almost 280 students got placed in well-known companies with good packages. During our placements, the highest package was 25 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA. The topmost roles offered were Software Engineer, Software Developer, and Trainee positions.
Infrastructure: There were lots of facilities available in our department. Most preferably, I would say the library, which was useful for all final-year and project-delivering students. Almost all areas of the college and hostels had Wi-Fi. There were separate labs for ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, and Mech. Facilities in the college hostel were good, and the food quality was also good. There was a separate roof for medical facilities called the medical center. There were enough sports and games facilities for both day scholars and hostellers to play. More tournaments were held for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, and the quality of the teaching was also good. If they didn't know, they referred to library books or other staff members and cleared our doubts. The course was relevant to the curriculum, and the course would be useful to students during their placements. Semester exams were not difficult. They were easier compared to other departments, and the pass percentage was 60/100 marks.
Other: I chose this course because I was very interested in electronic devices, so I was eager to learn more about them. That’s why I choose ECE. The best thing about the course was that they taught with real-time and live examples. I would say there was nothing to improve in my course. Events and fests were held monthly once, and hackathons were also conducted. Scholarships were available for students who scored top marks in higher secondary, and a first-graduate scholarship was also available.

Good placements in 2025, really good infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: 90% of students got placed in my course. The students have been placed in the highest package of 13 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. For our batch, students cadence is the company offering the highest package. Most of the students get placed on the software side as developer role.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are improving year by year. There is free Wi-Fi for 24 hours in the hostel. Also, non-veg meals will be provided every Wednesday night and Sunday. Also, sports like basketball and volleyball are given more importance.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. They will help you in whatever situation you need. Apart from curriculum, we need to study on our own to prepare for the industry. The semester exam in the first 2 semester is quite difficult as we are not used to those exams.
Other: Computer and communication is a unique course with a combination of CS and ECE curriculum and opens a wide door of opportunity on software side as well as the core side.

Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and modern classrooms. The library is well-stocked with books and online resources. Hostels offer clean and comfortable living spaces with quality food options. On-campus medical facilities and sports grounds support students' well-being and recreation. Overall, the infrastructure supports academic and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing good teaching quality. The course curriculum was relevant and industry-focused, making students industry-ready. Semester exams were challenging, but the pass percentage was good. The faculty's expertise and support contribute to a positive learning experience. The course structure and content were well-designed and effective. Students were encouraged to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios. The teaching methods were engaging and facilitated understanding. The course prepared students for the industry's demands and expectations. The academic environment was supportive and conducive to learning. Overall, the course was well-structured and effectively delivered.
Other: I chose this course for its industry relevance and career opportunities. The best aspects include practical learning and supportive faculty. To improve, more electives and industry partnerships would be beneficial. The college hosts various events and offers extracurricular activities, fostering a sense of community. The campus has good connectivity and infrastructure.

Good placement with 100%, best infrastructure, qualified faculty.
Placements: Our college provides placement training for each student and is divided into different batches to get trained from the 2nd year onwards. The average package is above 5 LPA. The highest package is above 40 LPA. Recently, 10 students got placed. There are many companies that come to our college and conduct internship drives.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in our college are really good and developed, Classrooms are well-modified within today's version with smartboards. 24/7 availability of Wi-Fi in both hostel as well as college is there. The hostel in the college will be much more comfortable like a 5-star hotel with a separate cot with a free pillow and bedsheet. The food in the hostel has very good quality. It is healthy.
Faculty: Teachers is our college are highly qualified with Ph.D. and make us understand every topic to learn. Students get trained to get placed in high companies. Semester exams are a bit difficult but we get trained to solve it. A student should score a 7.5 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course which is CSE because it has more scope for the future.

A growth full college life in my 20's.
Placements: As a graduate of Sri Eshwar College of Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering, the highest package is 40 LPA. The average package ranges from 6 LPA - 10 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Dell, Cadence, Thoughtworks, Lendingkart, etc., came for on-campus drives.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good and green. We have more than 20 labs for every domain in our college. Hostel is good and maintained in a neat way which is cleaned daily. Hostel food is okay. We too have mario and canteen inside our college where we can have snacks whenever needed.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department will be friendly and they keep supporting us in making us do projects. They help us win in many outside college or MNC hackathons and events. Course in our curriculum are updated to Industry 4.0 and emerging technology will start teaching from the first year onwards.
Other: Our college organizes various fests like Thiran and Dhrona where all the college students can be part of it. Various events take place at that time. It will be like a week of festival.

Nice college, you can consider joining.
Placements: The placement opportunities at the college are fairly decent. Students with average or above-average skills generally secure jobs. The average package ranges between 6 LPA to 10 LPA, while the highest package is 44 LPA, primarily offered by product-based companies.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 6 blocks in the college, with D, E, and D2 blocks being better compared to others. The college has excellent lab infrastructure, but the overall campus infrastructure is poor compared to other colleges. Labs are accessible 24/7 for hostel students.
Faculty: Some faculty members are knowledgeable, but a few can be irritating, which is common in most colleges. The college has a few industry mentors available and maintains a good faculty-student ratio. Additionally, evening classes are arranged for technical and soft skill training.
