1) Based on performance in Sha-Shib Scholarship and Aptitude Test:
a) Platinum scholarship: 90% above in SSAT - 25% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver
b) Diamond scholarship:85% above in SSAT - 20% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver
c) Gold scholarship: 70% above in SSAT - 15% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver
d) Silver scholarship: 65% above in SSAT - 10% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver
e) Bronze schlarship: 60% above in SSAT - 5% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver
2) Based on class 12th board exam other than CBSE board where marks system is applicable:
a) Mega scorer: 90% and above in class 12th - 30% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver
b) Super scorer: 85% and above in class12th - 20% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver
c) Star scorer: 80% and above in class12th - 10% fee concession/fee discount/fee waiver.
The total fee for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course at Sha Shib Aviation Academy is 4 lakhs. The academy has five courses with an average annual fee of 2,08,333. Some of the top courses at the academy are:-AME, PG Diploma in Aviation, Graduate Certificate in Aviation.
The Sha-Shib Group does not charge any capitation fee or donation for admission to its courses. Admission is based solely on merit.

The Sha-Shib Aviation Academy (SAA) in Kochi, Kerala offers five courses:-
1). Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME): Two-year course with a total fee of ?4 lakh,
2). Airhostess and Hospitality Training: One-year course,
3). Pilot Training,
4). Aeronautical Engineering (AE),
5). BBA in Aviation Management,
The average annual fee for all five courses is ?2,08,000.
Other courses offered by SAA include:-

On cancellation of registration/ admission within 15 days from the date of registration or admission, Sha-Shib Aviation Academy deducts 30% of the fee.
In case the cancellation of registration/ admission is after 15 days but before 30 days of registration or admission, 50% of fee is deducts. No refund is done in case of cancellation after 30 days of registration/ admission.

Placements: In our college, there were 30 students in one class. The college fee for one semester was Rs.65,000, and for the entire year, it was Rs.390,000. The training fee was Rs.135,910, and the fees for the library and uniform were Rs.10,000. 50% of students from our college got jobs at Airworks, and 20% of students got jobs at other companies like Indigo and Air India.
Placements: More than 90% student will get placement within 2 months of pass out. Starting from 25k to 35k per month, after 1 year of experience, 40k+. Indigo, Airworks, AirAsia, Air India. 80% student got internship in Airworks and Indigo Aircraft Maintenance Engineering B1.1 and B2.
Placements: Many students got placements, but it was not directly from our college. There was a mechanical and avionics batch for aircraft maintenance engineering. We got training in Air India Hanger for being 737 at AIESL Trivandrum. Most students got jobs in Air India Hanger while students of our college got jobs in every airline.
Placements: More than 80% of students got placed in our course. GMR, Indigo, and Saudi Airlines are the top recruiting companies. Almost 100% of students got paid internships at Air India Express. Technicians and maintenance engineers are the top roles offered in our course.
Placements: Placements are not offered frequently. Top companies like Tata recruit students once in 5 years, and it is a huge defect for the college. Placements are few, but there is directly recruiting from Sha Shib Academy in Kerala.
