The college is a very good choice for students .
Placements: 70 percent of students get the placements. The highest placement package is 60k, and the lowest package is 25k. The top recruiting companies are TATA, RDC, TOYOTA, MRF, etc.
80 percent of students get placements and internships from my course. The companies are OIL, ONGC, APDCL, AEGCL, etc. The roles offered in our course are junior engineers.
Infrastructure: The area of Basic Electrical Engineering Lab & Basic Circuit Theory Lab in sq. meters is 84.42. There is sufficient space for every student to work in the laboratory. About 20 students can do practical at a glance. U-table is provided for keeping the files and other electrical equipment such as wattmeter, multimeters, voltmeters, ammeters, connection wires, etc. We are provided experiential table/working table along with supply. Separate cabins for the faculty & lab. Other facilities, including fans and tube lights, are provided so that practicals can be performed easily and in working atmosphere. Laboratories are kept clean and well maintained regularly. Each laboratory is under the supervision of lecturer in-charge appointed by principal every year. Major Instruments/Machines :

Faculty: All teachers are educated and also properly qualified. They had the experience of so many years. They are having proper knowledge about the course and it's importance. It makes the students industry ready as well as provide a better future for the students. Placements: Nowadays it is a very good course for males as well. It's the highest package of the course, up to 9 Lacs. All of our friends got a job in the 2nd year as well in the nearby hospital. They got a salary with a good amount. The role of a nurse is the best thing in the modern era, as well as a good future for nursing students. Infrastructure: The facility like Wi-Fi is there in the college as well as a proper laboratory. Also, the classroom is very good for study and also suitable for a student's mind. Lets talk about the hostel. The condition is very good, and there are 3 major hostels in the college, one for girls and two for boys.
Other: The importance of extracurricular activities on college campuses is well established. The primary goals of extracurricular activities focus on the individual student level, the institutional level, and the broader community level. These activities exist to compliment the university's academic curriculum and to augment the student's educational experience. According to a 1993 article by Alexander Astin, almost any type of student involvement in college positively affects student learning and development. Extracurricular activities provide a setting to become involved and to interact with other students, thus leading to increased learning and enhanced development. Not that good, needs to be upgraded.
Placements: Placement services are available for every final year student (i.e., from 5th semester onwards) who doesn't have any backlogs in their previous semesters. The average package is up to ₹180,000 per annum. Good companies like Apollo Tyres, RDC Concrete, etc., come for campus selection.
Infrastructure: There were no hostel facilities available, neither for boys nor for girls. Previously, it was sealed due to COVID-positive people staying there. Hostels are fully contracted but not in use. They don't have any security guard or cook, etc. Moreover, the hostel was near the college, but the WiFi connection in that area was very poor.
Faculty: Faculties were good and approachable. They were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching was also good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it should be more practical-based to make the students more industry-ready. The semester exams were not that tough. There was a CGPA system, and the pass percentage is 33%.
Other: There were 3 branches: Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. I chose Civil Engineering because the quantity of posts available for this branch in government posts is high. I think in Civil Engineering, more practical-based teaching is required rather than bookish knowledge. Our college also celebrates college week every year, and many more fests and events are also held.

Sibsagar Polytechnic institute.
Placements: I have talked to some senior students and found out that placements are good for students with higher CGPA. I have also noticed that students with higher CGPA are often taken notice by the companies and get employed. Our college has collaborations with numerous private and government companies for employment, so it's not a big issue here. Some of the companies that our college has collaborations with are Maruti Suzuki, Indian Railways, APDCL, North East Power Generation Organization, and other government and private companies for mechanical, electrical, and civil students.
Infrastructure: College hostels offer affordable rent and ample facilities. The labs are well-equipped with all necessary machinery and Wi-Fi is also available. There is no electricity problem and every branch has digital classrooms. Additionally, each department has proper toilets and bathrooms.
Faculty: Our teachers are the best. They are always ready to help us when we need it, and they are experts in their respective subjects. They guide us very well in every field. Our college is certified by the engineering college authority. Of course, our exams are difficult, but our teachers make it easy for us by providing good teaching in class. They focus on giving us the concepts instead of just giving us lectures and answers to write.
Other: Attending college fests is an amazing experience. Our college is currently hosting a fest, and we are actively participating. The institution is also very supportive against bullying or ragging.

Our college is good at every thing.
Placements: Our college provides students with a lot of opportunities. To get admission, students must have at least 45%. To get an internship, students must have at least a 6.00 CGPA. After completing this course, students will have many job opportunities.
Infrastructure: Sibsagar Polytechnic has a lot to offer. The college has three courses: civil, electrical, and mechanical. The classrooms and washrooms are very clean, and the library has every book you need.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They teach very well, and the semester exams are quite difficult, so you need to study very hard to get at least 60%.
Other: I chose this course because it has a lot of scope and is a very good course, especially for girls. The best thing about this course is that if you do a polytechnic, you will get a scholarship of Rs. 1,50,000.
