I am really satisfied with our college.
Placements: About 85% of the students from our college get jobs in campus interviews. The salary package of 12 LPA was offered by Jaro Education, while 10 LPA was offered by Byju's. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Almost 70% of the students get internships from our course. Roles offered in our course are marketing manager and software developer.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have any hostel, but there are many PGs and messes near our college. Our college has state of the art labs, Wi-Fi on every corridor and a well-managed library. The quality of food served in our college canteen is very good and healthy. Medical facilities of our college are very good.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very good. They not only teach us very nicely but also show a very friendly attitude towards students. They are always ready to help us in our studies. The course curriculum is relevant, and it really makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are tough and also easy, and almost every student passes the semester exams.

In this college, I have spent my 4 years gaining knowledge and knowing people.
Placements: A lot of students from our batch got placements. I also got placement from our college. Every year a lot of students get their placements from our college. But if you are an academically good student, then you can get the job. If you are not good, it is tough for you to get a job.
Infrastructure: The library is huge with a lot of books and free Wi-Fi for study purpose. You will get daily newspapers in different languages. Lots of comic books are also available just to feel relaxed from the study pressure. The only drawback of our college is it doesn't have its own hostel.
Faculty: The teachers here are well-equipped, very knowledgeable and very helpful. The lab teachers are also very much helpful. I have done only one experiment 4 times on the same day, but not even one time they stopped me. Even they also helped me to learn the experiment easily. I used to call them at night also to ask doubts, but they never get rude to me. They always answered happily.
Other: I chose civil engineering because I wanted to gain some experience of around 2 or 3 years and then start my own firm.

This course was very helpful.
Placements: Most of the students had applied for off-campusing because the companies which had come for recruitment offered non-technical jobs. Since we were in the 4th batch to graduate, the number of companies that had come for placements were very less. I don't have much information about the salary packages offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was great. Hostel facilities were up to the mark but were provided only for boys. Women's hostel was not far from the college but was not owned by the institute. The quality of the food served was a real concern there. There is a proper infirmary inside the college. The library is stacked with books and has a very pleasant ambience.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. They are very approachable and never show favouritism. The course curriculum was not relevant, considering the business scenario. The courses were similar to what the other colleges in west Bengal follow. However, they do not give an industry inclined view.
Other: The course should be more focused on industry requirements.

Faculty members are good, but placements are not that good.
Placements: Around 30% of the students from our course were placed. The highest salary package offered was around 10 LPA, the minimum salary package offered was 2.75 LPA and the average salary package offered was around 4.0 LPA. Top recruiting companies that visited our college were Byju's, Wipro, Simplex Infrastructures, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, and the facilities provided are numerous. The library has many different collections of books and Wi-Fi facilities. Instruments in the labs are of all the latest versions and equipped with all the necessary instruments.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful in terms of education of students and give their best to help students to learn the subject better. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready, and the practicals are helpful for the student in their day to day life.
Other: I have chosen this course because my friend suggested me to take this course. As his father was an engineer, my friend said that doing this course would be very beneficial for us.

The college has good faculty members and good campus.
Placements: The college provides average placements. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. There is also a placement cell to help students. Many companies, like TCS, Netgear, Tech Mahindra, etc., have visited the college for recruitment. The average salary package offered is approximately 4 LPA to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. There is a big library which is good enough. It has the best environment for the students. Medical facilities are also available inside the campus. Classrooms are fine. You will not get any air conditioning in the classrooms. The computer lab is not so good, and there is no air conditioner in the computer labs also. The computers do not work properly sometimes.
Faculty: The college has a good, highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty member. If you have any doubts related to your syllabus, they will help you at any time. They are very much open and frank with every student. Teachers treat all the students equally.
Other: You will definitely get a scholarship if you are a good student. They conduct different events and functions on a regular basis. The campus is very good and eco-friendly for the students.

SIEM is the best college.
Placements: Almost 20% of the students in our course were placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered in our course is Rs. 12,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 14,000 per month. Byju's, Simplex, Amazon, L&T are the companies that recruit students of our course. At least 30% of the students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: There are high-quality facilities and infrastructure. The college provides free Wi-Fi facility. Library, classrooms, and labs are very good. Our college doesn't have any types of hostel. The college canteen is good, and the food is served at low prices. Our college is good in sports, especially in cricket.
Faculty: Each teacher is helpful for the students. They all are B.Tech and M.Tech graduates. Some teachers are B.Tech passed and highly knowledgeable. They help every student. They are always ready to help the students, even in phone calls or social media platform.
Other: I like civil engineering, so I have chosen it. It is the best as compared to other departments.
