Honest review of Sou. Venutai Chavan Polytechnic College.
Placements: In college, a batch is a group of students who are taught together. A student who is in the same year as you in college is called a batchmate. It's a nice college and also very good. According to the latest placement data, approximately 82% of students in our course got successfully placed.
Infrastructure: It has a building and a library. It has a very nice campus, and I would say it is very green and well-maintained. The quality of hostel facilities can vary depending on the hostel, but some hostels offer good food. Sports facilities and medical care are available, and I appreciate it.
Faculty: Faculty is good, as I am in the K-scheme, it's very good, and I would also say that it's very good. The curriculum is good, and we understand. Teachers also solve our doubts. The passing percentage for college semester exams can vary depending on the college and the course.
Other: Our college organizes events and extracurricular activities, it is very beneficial.

Placements: I am a 3rd-year diploma student in the computer branch. The top recruiter of our college is Infosys, and the salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Students mostly choose to go for higher education, so for students who want to have a job, it's a bit easier to get if you are good at academics.
Infrastructure: The hostel stinks and the food is the worst. It is better to eat outside. Classrooms have cameras installed and are pretty clean. Our library is one of the best spots where you can study in peace and spend time there to relax and complete your assignments and homework.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful to me. There are workshops to help students with their studies and seminars to guide and help them move forward on the course they picked. Students need 75% attendance in classes else they'll be on the defaulter list which may not be good.
Other: We have one of the best events held on campus compared to other colleges.

Placements: Our college provides good placements, but very few of them take placements. Students pursue higher studies. Staff members take sessions regarding placements. Some students go for higher studies after the diploma.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. There are old PCs, but for other departments, they have good applications. The library is huge. Hostels are clean. The quality of the food is good and affordable.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and friendly. You can get very good mentors. All teachers are excellent and friendly. They will help you in every situation. The course curriculum is relevant.

I would recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Placements were not the first priority in this college, but the campus drive was going on. Many top companies visit our college for recruitment. Interview and aptitude tests were conducted for students, and few students got selected while others face difficulty during interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Our campus was also better. All facilities were provided for regular students. Classrooms were spacious. The library was far away from our campus and it becomes hectic to walk. The library was open till morning, and we can study there whole night.
Faculty: Faculty members were helpful. HOD was also very responsible regarding the exam work. Their teaching style was old but everyone understand them very well. Semester exams were easy if we study properly.
Other: Events named Sinhagad Karandak and Carnival were conducted. There were many food stalls, tattoo parlors, and game stalls. DJ night was also conducted, and many talented celebrities visit our college for entertainment.

Good teaching staff. Good placements in 2022. Labs are well maintained .
Placements: The highest package offered by companies is 3 LPA to 5 LPA as a fresher. I think 80 to 90 percent students got internship from my course in TATA Mahindra Suzuki and Paytm. Topper Students secure package of around 8-9 LPA. I got hired at 5 in the Honda company .
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities and infrastructure, classrooms are big as 80 students can be accommodated, t labs are provided, etc. The college canteen was good with good food . 3 or 4 sports grounds are available .
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and the teaching quality is good. They are also friendly with the students. Last semester's exam was difficult and I got 80 percent. Teachers help us during exams to clear our doubts. They also provide study material which is helpful for us.
Other: Many events are arranged like karndak. The sports event campus is clean .The college focuses on extracurricular activities .

In this college teachers are very supportive.
Placements: Around 30% of students are placed in our course. The average salary offered varies from Rs 10,000 - Rs 30,000 per month. Every single student received internships from different companies. As of the covid period, online internships are provided and offline internships are also allowed.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities included laboratories for separate classrooms. It has a separate building for the library. Hostel facilities are decent, and the quality of food is also average. For sports, there is a two-sport ground which is big to play cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The course is also relevant, and the passing percentage during our year is 100%. The exams are taken online so everyone passed. But teachers are very supportive.
Other: One thing could be improved i.e festive program management because our campus is good to be performed fests and events so that students can enjoy.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: It is a diploma college, so there are not many placements because most of the students aspire to be engineers. Teachers are good, so they do provide some opportunities for students to work after their diploma. I was the one who got placed in Wipro because of my HODs reference. If anyone wants to apply for a job after a diploma, then teachers will definitely help them.
Infrastructure: There is a library with 5 storeys on the campus, which provides good books. Wi-Fi facility is not available in college and mess. Our college provides good practical instruments. The hostel provides good facilities, and the security is one of the highlights of the girl's hostel. There are 2-3 options for mess students to choose from.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were mostly qualified. They have the tendency to get things done by students. Some teachers were knowledgeable and helpful. The course curriculum does not exactly make the students industry-ready. The college sometimes arranges seminars, workshops and ask students for projects which help in a real-time experience. Exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I have chosen this course because a diploma provides much more in-depth knowledge. The best thing about the course is you get into the mindset to learn and grow about the industry from the beginning. You will also get other experiences which would help you to develop your soft skills. Campus events and fests are the primary attraction of students for this college as they organise it grandly. Campus surroundings are great as there are many different colleges on the campus. You get to connect with lots of students and teachers from different fields. The government provide scholarships for eligible students.

It's one of the best colleges for a diploma. Teachers are also good. Events and crowd are perfect.
Placements: Very few students got jobs after diploma, and many of them decided to take admission for a degree. We did an internship in the third year in PHN company. Teachers are good and helpful here. Office staff members also help with all documentation things, and teachers are kind.
Infrastructure: I stayed in the hostel for 3 years, and my experience was good. Hostel facilities are very good compared to other college hostels, but the mess is not much good. However, there are other messes other than the college mess. Our college labs are excellent, and the library is also the best.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, and the way they teach is also best. But only the course doesn't make students industry-ready at all as it needs practice as well as extra activities which you can get by joining some external courses. Mostly, students want to do a degree after diploma, which is also the best way.
Other: I always wanted to be a programmer, so it's best to choose a diploma after 10th rather than a degree. Sinhgad event is known as the best event in Pune. Karandak and Carnival are the best. We can get a chance to see celebrities also.
