My Review of This College.
Placements: We have a placement cell in our college that provides job opportunities in top MNC companies. Students get the opportunity to choose a domain according to their interests. Top companies like Amazon, DE SHAW, KPMG, Deloitte, and others visit for placements. The packages offered by these companies range from 3.6 L to 7.8 LPA. Before the placement process begins, the companies provide a brief explanation of their work environment, culture, packages, and further opportunities, either through a PPT presentation or an AV.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility available currently. Although a hostel was available earlier, the building has now been converted into classrooms. Therefore, food accommodation is separate, however, a canteen is present on campus for the convenience of students.
Faculty: College faculty is highly qualified and experienced. Their teaching style is unmatched, as they explain every detail of the subject with many live examples. Each lecturer has a unique teaching style, which leaves a lasting impression. The faculty makes the subjects even more interesting by making the classes interactive. The course curriculum is excellent and is spread over 4 semesters, with 2 semesters each year. The faculty members are well-known and helpful. As mentioned, there are 2 semesters each year, so students have 2 end-of-semester exams annually, along with internal assessments.

BBA in Aviation Management - Batch of 2023

Overall, it is a very good college. Placements and extracurricular activities are also good.
Placements: Placements are not high, but still, it provides 40% of placements. The highest salary offered is 1 lakh per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month in my course. I heard from the seniors and teachers that Indigo is one of the best airlines that visit the college for placements. Roles like cabin crews and ground staff are offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is outstanding. Wi-Fi is available on each floor and in labs. The library contains all the books students need. Food is average, and it is available in the college canteen. Medical facilities are also provided in the sick room. It is a very good college for the students who want to have their professions in sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and experienced. They are experts in their field of knowledge. It is a good course and very good for the future of students. Semester exams are not difficult, and they are also not easy if we concentrate and study well. The pass percentage is 20% in internals and 20% in written.
Other: I chose this course, but it has not been my dream to be in the aviation industry. The best thing about our course is we get to have practical lessons in mock aircraft, and it is very interesting. I wish people had better knowledge about this course and not just think it is waiter work. Events are held very frequently and are done by the students themselves. The campus crowd is also very good. The campus surroundings are also very good, clean, and neat. Scholarships are also provided to the SC and OBC category students. The college gives equal importance to the extracurricular activities.

St. Francis College is value for money.
Placements: Basically, many IT companies and startups come for placements. We have placement classes every week to guide us. Companies that come include Toshiba and Wipro. Our college was once visited by Infosys. So there is no scarcity of placements.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in the whole campus and a mock aircraft with all facilities, especially for aviation students. We have hi-tech computer labs. There are separate canteens for staff and students, and our canteen provides high-quality food and snacks.
Faculty: Our college has the best-qualified teachers (Ph.D. holders). The course makes students ready to work in the industry. Semester exams aren't that difficult. Our college has the best passing percentage, and students achieve university ranks each year.
Other: I have chosen a BBA in Aviation Management so I can learn about aviation. There is nothing much to improve. Everything is best. We have fests and communication activities very often, including cultural fests, sports days, and other events.

My college story and life in the college.
Placements: The percentage required to join the BCA course is above 80%. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon and Google. Around 90% of students got internships, but I do not have any idea about it. I love my college. I have no complains about it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It has many compartments like a library, a canteen, a sick room, and a xerox room. The food that we get from our college is very affordable and good. They maintain good hygiene and give food to students.
Faculty: Our teachers are very friendly. They do their work up to the mark. They teach so well. If we have doubts, they clear them. Exams are not that difficult. They are quite easy for students. They even take us on industrial visits.
Other: The college is good.

Semester exam difficulty varies by college and course.
Placements: Top recruiting companies that visited our campus included tech giants like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, TCS, Infosys, and Flipkart. These companies offered a range of roles. Our university's strong industry connections ensure that students are well-prepared for the job market. In addition to placements, internships are also a key focus area for our course. Around 85% of students secured internships with top companies like Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Oracle, and Accenture. These internships provided valuable hands-on experience and often converted to full-time job offers.
Infrastructure: Our college has really good infrastructure with clean toilets. It has waiting areas with garden areas. They also have a lot of classrooms which makes it easier for students to sit in the class. There are e-library, reading rooms, sick rooms, labs, AV rooms, and projectors in every class.
Faculty: Semester exam difficulty varies by college and course, but generally, passing requires consistent effort. The pass percentage typically ranges from 40-50% in some institutions with minimum passing marks around 20% in certain universities. Factors like exam structure and student preparation significantly impact results. Overall, staying on top of coursework and studying regularly can help students succeed.
