The food served in the hostel is good and well-balanced. Our college provides medical insurance for students up to Rs.100000.The hostel has a very good mess that serves meals four times a day.canteen has a huge menu for students to choose from and the mess has diverse food options for home-like food.The food quality is better. Wardens and staff members are very understanding. 

In most cases there is chance of reattempting the exam, but in case if not need at attempt at next time when they conduct the exam. If miss the 1st internal then there would be 2nd internal exam that would help pass the internals. This will help to the students who miss the internals at any reason may be due to health problems as well

Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Boardor 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with a minimumof 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for ScheduledCaste / Scheduled Tribes).And need to attend Symbiosis entrance test and get the cutoff marks

Candidates interested in pursuing B.Des from SID need to register for SET on the official website of the examination.• After registering for SET, candidates have to register online on the official website of Symbiosis Institute of Design.• Those seeking admission to UG programs in SID must have passed 10+2 examination in any stream (Arts, Commerce or Science) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.• Candidates who will qualify in SET will be shortlisted for studio test and personal interaction.• Final selection of candidates will be on the basis of their performance in SET, Studio Test and Personal Interaction.• For international students, SCIE (Symbiosis Center for International Education) handles admission to B.Des programs.

Youthville girls hostel and pg, Ms living pg, procida hostel in addition to theese, there are a lot of hostels available around the college, there will be no problem related with PG even there are hostels with co living also available. Based on the budget we can select these hostels and with the facilities they offered. And there is chance to rent a house if we have better known friends at the college premises

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des programme at SID need to first appear in the SEED 2026 written exam. Shortlisted candidates have to appear in a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round. To appear in the personal interaction, the candidate will have to book their slots. The candidate will also have to upload a PRPI Task and Portfolio. The final merit list for admission will be prepared by considering the performance of the candidate in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Personal Interaction. The admission committee will also take into account the information provided by the candidate in the application form and the chosen specialization.
