Insiders of Uttaranchal University.

Placements: Above 50% of students are placed, but not completely in the IT field; mostly we're in consultancy and sales. The average package is around 4 lakh. Top recruiting companies include ServiceNow, ZScaler, and Amazon. Almost every student gets an internship, as the college provides it by itself.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and it is the number one college in terms of infrastructure. The campus is beautiful and large. Labs are good and spacious, but some labs have old computer systems while others have decent systems like i5 12th Gen. Overall, it is decent.

Faculty: Most teachers are decent and helpful in nature. The course curriculum is not very relevant, with some unnecessary subjects added to the course, and the number of subjects is quite high. Semester exams are not that difficult; the papers are kind of easy, and anyone who studies the night before can pass.

Great Infrastructure and studying experience.

Placements: Every year, many students get hired through campus placements in which many companies like Cent, Deloitte, Zscaler, Pyramid Consultancies, Hexaware, etc. take part and offer good packages to the students, giving their career a great start. The highest package offered to 2 students from the 2022-24 batch was 19.5 LPA by Zscaler. Students get hired for various roles like junior developer, frontend developer, coder, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good. The campus is really big and has a lot of greenery. There is a big main library consisting of books covering all the fields, and each department has its own library and conference hall also. The outside view of the campus is really attractive and beautiful, which marks another point for the students to opt for this university.

Faculty: The faculty members of the college are really qualified and experienced and offer a great studying experience. They always try to adopt new and attractive ways of teaching to make it better for the students to grasp. The course helps the student to gain real-world knowledge of computer science and makes him or her ready to step into that challenging world.

Other: After completing my graduation, I realized that I have a keen interest and love for computer science. Hence, I started searching and decided to pursue MCA for my Master's from Uttaranchal University. The course has helped me gain knowledge about information technology and has opened great opportunities for me.

Good placement and facilities.

Placements: The placement of my senior batch was pretty good. 80% students of senior batch got placed with quite good packages. Some of them are working in Chandigarh, and some of them are working in Delhi, while some of them are working in Bangalore. Very reputable companies visited the campus like Basware, UCertify, Knoldus, Zycus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. The computer labs are managed in such a way that each student gets attention. The projectors are available in each classroom. The campus is very clean. The transport facility is also available. The sports and curriculum activities are organised in each semester. On every 23rd November, a blood donation event is organised.

Faculty: The faculty of our college are very helpful. They pay attention to every student while in the labs or the classes. They are very knowledgeable, And they allow us to ask queries at any time. They share some extra knowledge regarding current affairs for the placement purpose and conduct the aptitude and the personality development classes.

Best infrastructure. Faculty members are knowledgeable and cooperative.

Placements: Not the best college for placements but more than 50% students are placed in good companies at a good package. The good thing is there are a lot of companies (Accenture, Amazon, Wipro etc) that come for placement and recruit students according to their requirement. Placement cell is very good and they give their 100% for students. Rest, it is the students' ability to crack their interviews, GDs and aptitude.

Infrastructure: In the field of Infrastructure, Uttaranchal University is the best college in not only Dehradun but in Uttarakhand. Classrooms are airy and enough for 60+ students. I am a student of UIM, so as I see the lab is too good containing 200+ PCs installed with Windows Linux as well as Oracle MySQL server. There's a large library including a digital library and other.

Faculty: 90% of faculty members are well-qualified and treat the students very well. They are helpful and the most important thing is their interaction. They help us learn something again and again. Their teaching method is superb. They don't give up on any student until every student is clear with their doubts.

Other: The best college in terms of infrastructure and facility. I studied here both in graduation as well as post-graduation, which makes a sense that it is worth it. As already mentioned, all facilities are excellent, no power failure for more than a minute, and good clean overall. As per studies, it is also very good in that perspective, the only thing it lacks is placements, and that too has improved to a great extent this year, with many good companies coming and students getting placed. The behavior of all staff is also excellent. Overall, I’ll recommend this college.
