So, overall, the college is good.
Placements: Currently, I am pursuing my MBBS 2nd year at VIMSAR. Well, it's a top government college in Odisha, so you need to pass the cutoff mark, which may vary year to year. But after passing from this college, you will certainly become a doctor. And during the internship, you will get a good salary too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite average because it's a 70-year-old college. All the hostels and the college campus have become very old. The hospital is also not in very good condition; every time some sort of repair work goes on in our college, but still, it is not enough, as the work is fully neglected.
Faculty: The faculty is good, but you need to study on your own, like in every college. Compared to other government colleges, VIMSAR stands out to be the best in academics, as our college is quite strict about attendance and marks. So, we usually attend classes and read in the library.
Other: All kinds of fests are organized in our college, so you can expect a good college life.

I am very much satisfied with MBBS. It is very hard in Burla, so you need to study every day.
Placements: So we are doing MBBS, and after the 4.5-year, a 1-year stipend of Rs.50,000 per month. After completing MBBS, you can get around Rs.90,000 to Rs.1,00,000 per month. In my batch, everyone gets a job as we are doctors. So, if I talk about doctors, there is almost a 100% guarantee of getting a job in the future.
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, it is good, not like other big colleges, but it is good for a government college. The lecture theatres are well maintained. They are highly modern and air-conditioned. There are air purifiers, and there are labs like biochemistry labs and all kinds of labs, whichever subject is required. Now, if I talk about hostels, they are average, with a mess, and the medical facilities are well. We are doctors, so we know medical practices. The hospital is open 24 hours for us. Hospital facilities are A1 but need some cleanliness inside the hostel and hospital.
Faculty: Teachers are postgraduates, MD, MS, and super-specialized. Teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. Well, as they are highly qualified, the teaching quality is very good. MBBS is highly appreciated here in Vimsar Burla compared to other medical colleges in Odisha. All teachers are highly qualified, so the teaching standards are very high. They are doctors and senior doctors, and as per academic consideration, Burla is considered to have one of the most difficult MBBS courses. The exam quality is high, and exams are very difficult. One needs to study every day to score good marks.
Other: One thing I will tell you is that you need to be 100% sure that you want to be a doctor in the future. That means you have to study every day for at least 3 to 4 hours to become that one top-notch personality in the country. You have to save people’s lives, so you have to be that much sure in your mind before choosing MBBS in Vimsar Burla. All kinds of events and all kinds of fests. Everything happens in a medical college, but along with them, you need to study hard every day, even to pass exams.

No permanent faculty is there in our college.
Placements: Placements are good in our college, but we need to study in a proper and efficient way. We have duty hours of 4 hours, which is now the training period. In this period, we are not getting any stipend and we are working a lot during the day and night, which needs to be changed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is bad. The college campus is not so good.
And also, the hostel campus is not so good. There is no boys hostel and in girls hostel, not sufficient place are there to stay, and also girls hostel infrastructure is not so good.
Faculty: No permanent faculty is there in our college. There are only a few permanent faculties in our college for which our students suffer a lot in their academic problems, which need to be solved as soon as possible. So that all the students should study properly and in a good way.

Glorious college, i.e. Veer Surendra Sai.
Placements: 80 to 90% students got placed from our college every year. The highest package is about 30 to 25 LPA. Good internship opportunities are available from our college. There are paid internships and unpaid too.
Infrastructure: Hostel and college fee is very affordable. All the faculty members are very talented and good at teaching. Wi-Fi is available all the time in hostel as well. The classrooms have very good condition. The faculty members are highly qualified. Food is provided in our college canteen.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very helpful and dedicated towards their job. They are very friendly and they are highly qualified. Our course is highly relevant and very good for future demand. The exams are not so difficult and not even easy.
Other: The lab can be improved. Our college conducts many fests including cultural and non-cultural.

Overall a good college. Infrastructure can still improve though.
Placements: As a medical college, Vimsar provides education to it's best and many students get PG seats all over. Well paid. Facilities like books and easy contact to faculty members for PG preparation is there. PG seniors also help a lot. Tuitions are available. Lot of learning and better job opportunities.
Infrastructure: Almost all the facilities are present like gym, football ground, badminton court, canteen, Wi-Fi facility, library and many more. Mess is average. Sometimes below average. But canteen provides better food. Better grounds and gym are present.
AC and WIFI in library is present.
Faculty: Regular exams are conducted. Weekly and monthly assessment tests are given. Faculty members are the best. Only some subjects have kind of average faculty members.
They cooperate and study is fun as practicals are done seriously. Clinicals are real experience and done gently, which makes us better at concept.
Other: Proper campus is not there with hostel. It is a bit away from hospital and college. College and hospital are in the front. This course has the best security and satisfaction, one can ever have in life. Exam schedule and ways can improve but overall it's good. Fests are just awesome. A lot of events, functions take place. Scholarship is also available for students.

Still, there are lot of thing to change.
Placements: 70%-80% placed in this course. Starting salary goes around Rs. 29,000 and then it increases with time up to Rs. 90,000. In this course, the student can work at AIIMS and other state government medical hospitals and private hospitals either as a tutor in medical nursing college or nursing staff.
Infrastructure: Almost everything is available, but maintenance is very poor. The library is available.
Food quality is moderate not so good not so bad. There is no sports facility here. If students want, they can join NCC. Skill labs, library, halls computer labs are available for study purposes.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified. Since college is new, so the development of the college rate is very low. This pace will increase with time.
This course is the toughest course since you have to completed 2-3 kg book per subject along with the 5 hours of clinical duty in the hospital.
Other: One can enjoy the hectic schedule along with the event going on in college. Enjoying the festival together is the best moment you can make with your friends. I chose to nurse because it is one of the most respected jobs in the world, but still, this course is not so popular in India.
