The food quality in the hostel mess at Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) seems to be a common point of dissatisfaction among some students. While some have mentioned that the food is "ok to get adjusted," others have criticized it as "not that good". However, it appears that improvements are still needed, as many students express the need for better variety and taste in meals. Overall, while it may suffice for daily meals, the food quality could be better according to student reviews.

Getting admission into Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) is moderately competitive. The college admits students primarily through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and COMEDK UGET, both of which are well-regarded entrance exams in the region. The difficulty of gaining admission largely depends on the branch of study. Popular branches like Computer Science and Information Science typically have higher cutoffs (around ranks 32,700 and 46,822, respectively), making them more competitive. In contrast, branches like Civil Engineering have relatively lower cutoffs (around rank 140,851), making them easier to get into.To secure admission, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, perform well in the entrance exams, and participate in the counseling process. As a relatively well-regarded engineering college in Mysore, VVIET's admission process is accessible to students with good academic records and a decent performance in KCET or COMEDK.THANK YOU
