The process of getting an admission at VIT – Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is relatively easy though competitive, about 5,000 students sit for 600 places. The institute is aimed at achieving a threshold of 80 to 90 percentile score in JEE Main examination and 90 to 95 percentile score in MHT CET examination. Candidates should also have passed in the 10+2 examination with a minimum of fifty percent average with Physics Mathematics and any of Chemistry, Biology as subjects. Admissions are centralized with short listing of students based on their performance in the entrance test and the academic achievements. Seat Matrix has a pattern, of wherein 80% of seats are in-admission process and the remaining 20% of seats are received through management quota.

Yes, VIT- Vidyalankar Institute of Technology provides scholarships to students up to 100%. The institute offers an opportunity to waive all the TTC (Tuition + Technical) fees for students scoring 95% or above in the JEE Main Exam or MHT CET Exam. Also, students who have scored 1-1000 in JEE Main or 1-500 in MHT CET are also offered full Scholarship. At VIT, only 5% of the students get full scholarships that mean 50 Lacs rupees are distributed as scholarships per annum. The scholarship is renewable annually, provided the student achieves a minimum cumulative grade point average of 8.5.

For admission in VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology for undergraduate courses B.E./B.Tech candidates need to take admission through common entrance tests such as JEE Main or MHT CET. It also takes into account several thousand more state level entrance tests. Candidate should have obtained 50% in 10+2 examination with Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/ Biology as subjects of examination. Admissions also have a central admission procedure for students to be selected from a list depending on their performance in the entrance exams or performance in previous academical sessions. The institute also has a choice process where students can select the preferred branch and college of their study. The remaining 20% are admitted directly through management quota while 80% of the seat are admitted through centralised admission process.
