Indeed, VIT – Vidyalankar Institute of Technology provides different scholarships to students. There are scholarships provided according to the result achieved in JEE Main/MHT CET; students getting over 95% can get up to 100% tuition fee exemption at this institute. Besides, the institute also provides scholarships to students from economically very low-income group where up to 50% of tuition fees may be exempted. The institute also awards scholarships to students who have done well in sports, cultural silly and other co curricular activitie. A total of INR 2.5 crores scholastic funds is distributed among about 20% of students at VIT every year.

The said plan on the spot and the process of applying to VIT-Vidyalankar Institute of Technology are divided into the following steps: First of all, candidates have to complete an online registration on the site of the institute and fill in their and their academic data. They have also to upload the documents that include 10th and, or 12th standard marks statements, JEE Main or MHT CET score card, and the caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. Though the fee for the application is INR 1,000 which must have to be paid online through credit card/debit card/ net banking etc. Upon submitting the application, candidates will be selected based on their scores in the entrance test and previous performance in class. Interested candidates are later called to the counseling session in which they can select the branch and college of their choice on merit.

For admission in VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology for undergraduate courses B.E./B.Tech candidates need to take admission through common entrance tests such as JEE Main or MHT CET. It also takes into account several thousand more state level entrance tests. Candidate should have obtained 50% in 10+2 examination with Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/ Biology as subjects of examination. Admissions also have a central admission procedure for students to be selected from a list depending on their performance in the entrance exams or performance in previous academical sessions. The institute also has a choice process where students can select the preferred branch and college of their study. The remaining 20% are admitted directly through management quota while 80% of the seat are admitted through centralised admission process.

Secondly, candidates need to complete the online application form and give the information about their personal life, as well as education. Thirdly, candidates have to upload mandatory documents such as 10th and 12th standard marks sheet, JEE Main or MHT CET scorecard, caste certificate (if applicable). Fourthly, each candidate is required to submit an application fee of INR 1000 only through the online payment method. They can apply online on the website of the institute or can apply through the CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. The seats are also available through the management quota and they occupy 20% of the total admission spaces. Candidates must pass the qualifying examination i.e 10+2 with not less than 50% marks with compulsory subjects as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry /Biology.
