You have cleared the cutoff required for admissions. So you are eligible. But the final admission will be based on your acads and your performance in GD-PI. Work ex and extra curriculars matter too. So all these factors will determine the final outcome.

Very high entrance scores will always attract eyes, but it isnt always the case. The brighest student might not get high marks in exams. The entrance exam scores only are for establishing the eligibility criteria. The final selection will be based on GD-PI and the past acads record. As for the second part of the question, it might be true but again i have no much idea about it. CAT is considered the tougher exam among the 2, but each exam has its own way of evaluation. Entrance exam scores are to set up eligibilty. They dont have much weightage as compared to GD-PI rounds, when it comes to selection. Also your acads and extra curriculars will matter. Also if you have work ex than it will matter too.
As for placements, college does handle the charges, but in some cases you might have to take care of charges yourself.

Many students prefer XIME bangalore as its the older one between the 2 and established. But XIME kochi being the newer one has better facilities. XIME bangalore does get more weightage in decisions and placements. Kochi isnt too bad but try for bangalore.

XIME kochi is good but it being a new campus doesnt get much preference by the recruiters. A campus needs to be 5 years old for the top companies to start recruiting. Thats their policy. This being the 4th year so can expect placemenst to be good. And the placements generally happen together for bangalore and kochi.
