With a CUET PG 2026 score of 164 and a B.A. Economics from GITAM University, your chances of getting into top universities like Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), or the University of Hyderabad are likely to be limited in the General category, as their M.A. Economics cut-offs are generally higher.

No, CUET-PG is not accepted for PP Savani University MBA admissions. Candidates who wish to skip appearing in SLMET during MBA admission process need a score in either CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT.

The score required to take admission at BHU depends on the category you belong to and the course chosen. For the General AI category, the round 3 cutoff ranged from 6 to 260 for different PG-level programmes as per the BHU CUET PG cutoff 2026. So, yes, General AI category students can get admission to this institute with a score of 20.

If you belong to the OBC AI category, the minimum score required was 13 in the fourth round. For this category, the cutoff varied from 13 to 242. For more information, click here.

I went through the same confusion when I was preparing for CUET.

From my experience, CUET previous year question paper and mock tests both played different roles, and neither alone was enough.

What PYQs actually helped me with

When I started solving CUET previous year question papers, I realized:

  • The exam is more NCERT-based than I expected
  • Questions are not repeated directly, but concepts feel similar
  • It builds confidence because you understand “what CUET actually looks like”

So PYQs helped me build foundation understanding, not speed.

What changed when I started mock tests

When I shifted to mock tests (platforms like CUET MOCK), I noticed
