Mystory@Yashwant Bagdare: How I made my career – Challenges and successes
My favourite subjects in school were English (grammer) and Science, so I opted for Science in Class 12. Later on I enrolled for a diploma in Electronics.
I missed a lot of fun things in my college years as I studied in a lesser known college, Deogiri College near my house in Aurangabad. Since my college was near my house I didn’t get the opportunity experience hostel life too.
In college, I used to play cricket. I was best at that. I also liked to participate in other extra-curricular activities. I give a lot of value to fitness. If you are fit, you can do anything in your life. I believe, there should be a healthy mix of education and sports in one’s life, especially children’s.
I think, one should always be willing to do new things. One must have a sharp mind, sharp sixth sense and positive attitude. One must be hungry for everything, be it money, job, knowledge, singing, art, etc. No matter what others say, just enjoy life.
I want to tell everyone, that whether you are an engineer or a businessman be passionate about your work. Always be true to your heart.
Even though I failed in three subjects in Class 10, I am a qualified Electronic Engineer now. Be open to learning, you can change everything with that.
