Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow has commenced the UPCET BTech choice filling at the official website. Applicants can complete the UPSEE counselling choice filling 2022 till October 14. The authorities will release the seat allotment result of UPCET counselling on October 14. Earlier, AKTU had started the UPCET 2022 counselling registration process for BTech admissions at uptac.admissions.nic.in. Candidates could register for the UPCET counselling 2022 process until September 20. The authorities has announced the other UPCET/AKTU counselling 2022 dates. Only those candidates who have a valid JEE Main 2022 score and meet the other eligibility criteria were able to register for the counselling of UPCET 2022. UPCET/AKTU Counselling 2022 Admission Criteria
Admission in B.Tech courses in Uttar Pradesh in AKTU, MMTU and HBTU affiliated colleges will be on the basis of JEE Main 2022 rank. Admission to B.Tech Agriculture Technology and B.Tech Food Technology courses will be on the basis of the UPCET 2022 score however, candidates having JEE Main score can also apply for these two courses.

UPCET/AKTU 2022 Counselling Process
AKTU is conducting UPCET 2022 counselling online. The given steps can be followed to know the process of UPCET counselling 2022.
Step 1 - UPCET/AKTU 2022 Counselling Registration: Candidates need to register online by filling out the registration form online. The last date for UPCET 2022 counselling registration is September 20. At the time of registration, candidates will also need to pay the registration fee and upload scanned documents.
Step 2- Online Verification of Uploaded Documents: The respective authority will verify the documents uploaded by candidates. In case of any discrepancy in documents, candidates will be informed through email/SMS and candidates will be required to upload the correct documents within a specified date and time.
Step 3- Online Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates will be required to fill in choices of colleges and courses online as per the specified date. Choices have to be filled in carefully and in order of preference. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of choices.
Step 4- Allotment of Seats: The AKTU counselling authority will allot seats to all the registered candidates. Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment results online as per the schedule. Candidates who will be allotted a seat will be required to deposit a part of college fees as seat confirmation fees.
Step 5- Physical Reporting of Candidates at Allotted Institutes: Candidates will be required to report to the allotted institute as per the schedule failing which their admission can get cancelled.
UPCET 2022 Seat Allotment: Online Willingness of Freeze, Float and Withdraw
Candidates who are allotted seat options of Freeze, Float and Withdraw. Candidates can select either option depending upon their choice.
Freeze: Candidates can select the freeze option if he/she is satisfied with the course and college allotted. After selecting this option, candidates will no longer be able to participate in future counselling rounds.
Float: Candidates can select the float option who want to accept the allotted seat but want to participate in further counselling rounds.
Withdraw: Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seat and want to withdraw from the counselling process can select the withdraw option.
UPCET/AKTU Counselling 2022: Payment of Seat Confirmation Fee and Reporting to Allotted Institute
Candidates after submitting their online willingness need to freeze or float need to deposit the seat confirmation fees. The number of fees to be deposited will be informed after the seat confirmation and will depend on the category of candidates.
It is necessary to deposit the seat confirmation fee within the specified dates failing which the allotted seat will get cancelled and the candidate will no longer be able to claim the seatback. After fee deposition, candidates will get a provisional seat allotment letter which will mention details of reporting to the allotted institute and other instructions.
Candidates need to report to the allotted institute as per the specified dates with all the required documents in original and a seat of xerox copies. It is advised that candidates carry all the required documents failing which admission can be cancelled.
UPCET 2022 Cutoff
The authorities will prepare and release the UPCET 2022 cutoff in the form of opening and closing ranks. The cutoff will be prepared after checking the various factors related to JEE Main 2022 and the institutes where the seats will be allotted.
