Ajit Rangnekar appointed as Director of GMAC
According to recent news, Dean of Indian School of Business (ISB), Ajit Rangnekar, has been appointed as the Board of Directors of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Around the world, it is an alliance of top graduate business schools. ISB officials said that, he is the single representative from India who was invited to join the eminent group of deans of leading business schools. 
Chairman of ISB, Adi Godrej congratulated on his achievement and said that he is very happy that he is being appointed as a board member of such a prestigious organization as GMAC. He also said that Ajit will set a benchmark and his knowledge, skills, and zeal for excellence will certainly enhance India's growth as the global destination for management education.
GMAC has also appointed Xiongwen Lu as dean of the School of Management at Fudan University in Shanghai and founding director of the Chinese Market Research Center and Christine Poon, dean and John C Berry Chair in Business at the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University as the other directors.
Ajit Rangnekar appointment as director of GMAC corresponds with the completion of ten years of ISB. It is the pioneer of best practices in India, and this youngest institution was ranked amongst the top 20 B-schools in the world.
On the new role in the council, Ajit Rangnekar stated that he is highly obliged for being chosen as the member of the Graduate Management Admission Council. At present, it's a prominent entity which has established itself for prospective management students and B-schools. It is known worldwide and is famous for its standardized format and transparency. He also said that after being the member of the board will try to broaden GMAC's realm by extending its affiliation to other leading B-schools.
