Allahabad University Entrance Examination for PGD in Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (GIS) 2011
Allahabad University is conducting entrance examination for PGD in Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (GIS) 2011 and it scheduled for 18th September, 2011. The geography department of the university is the oldest one and the first one in India which has offered doctoral programmes in Mapping sciences and Master's level programme in various branches.
Eligibility:
Should have completed graduation in any discipline from this university or from any other recognized university. Preference will be given to students having knowledge of Computer and Mathematics.

Medium of Instruction:
The medium of instruction will be bi-lingual viz. mixed English and Hindi but the question papers of examination will be set only in English. However, it will be open to the students to choose either English or Hindi as a medium for the examinations.
Selection Procedure:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit obtained in written test (only objective type question related to mental ability and reasoning will be asked) followed by interview for aptitude evaluation.
