Central Placements in DU will begin from 8th November, 2011

The season of placements in Delhi University (DU) is all set to begin from 8th November, 2011 and it will be the first round of central placements. The Central Placement Cell will register final year students from all colleges and departments.

DU officials said that slowdown news has not affected the hiring process at DU and progression rate and enthusiasm level of companies is still same as last year. A Japanese company with job offers in Tokyo will also participate in the central employment process.

This Japan based company will hire both college students as well as post graduates. It will offer jobs in sales and a placement in Tokyo for first three years, said by Gulshan Sahni, Deputy Den, Students Welfare. He added that CPC is conversing with companies to begin a capacity building program to groom students for their respective field.
