DU students to now report grievances at respective colleges

Delhi University students can now report grievances to their respective colleges. According to a new DU notification, “consequent upon the implementation of the FYUP all colleges will set up an in-house grievance redressal mechanism for resolving the discrepancies related to the foundation and applied language courses.”

Earlier, there was a centralised process and the varsity’s exam branch would take up all the matters. After the introduction of FYUP this year, paper evaluation was passed over to colleges. Now even resolving discrepancies is in the hands of students. After results are declared, students can raise any doubt or discrepancies through applications in their respective colleges. Post incorporating the corrections in college records, principals will forward the applications to DU’s examination wing within a month of declaration of results.
