Following The Fashion Trends in Colleges
You are now in college and the most important thing in your mind is neither studies nor the teachers but the students around you. You want to be the best. You want to look the best. You want to do all that you can, be it spending on clothes, accessories, perfumes, anything to make sure that you put your best foot forward. What can you do to avoid falling into this trap?
You are who you are: Remember that you are first and foremost an individual who has his/her likes, dislikes, interests and disinterests. Your upbringing has given you a distinct way of life, a prism through which you look at life.
It does not matter whether everybody likes you or not. For every person who may not like you, there would be someone who does. And if friendships are going to be based on the way you look and not on who you are as an individual, then they are meaningless.
Be confident: When you walk into a room, be confident.
If you feel self-assured, others will also sense that and not expect you to change or be a particular way.
It's not all about what you wear: Remember that a person is not defined by his/her clothes. S/he is recognised by his/her actions and how s/he behaves with others.
Wear things because you want to: Being yourself also means that you should wear those things that you are comfortable in.
It's not about designer labels or roadside stuff. When you wear what you want to, it makes you feel more confident, which in any case is the ultimate goal.
