Germany is the second major Science Research Partner of India
A recent research reveals that after US, Germany is the second most productive partner in collaborative research with India in Science and Technology research. At German embassy, German Research Foundation (DFG) has released a report titled ‘Analysis of India's S&T Research Capabilities and International Collaborative Strength, particularly in the context of Indo-German Collaboration'.
DFG President Matthias Kleiner stated that the report reveals the fact that the intense scientific contacts between both the countries are increasing by every passing day. Being part of the ongoing 'Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities' festival, Germany will showcase how its renowned science and technology ecosystem can help create sustainable solutions for India's rapid urbanization.
It has been organized under the aegis of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), and in cooperation with the Indian partner institutions. It will display numerous symposiums, workshops, expositions and demonstration projects throughout India.
