Experts expect that the companies will hire more than five lakh new employees in 2012.

Trying hard to get a job? Worried that economic slowdown could affect your job prospects? Now the bleak period is over and the New Year is looking upbeat.

Experts anticipating that the companies will hire more than five lakh new employees in 2012. The new tagline of companies in the New Year is ‘We are hiring'- come and show your talent.

Experts also speculate that the, "Employee salary could also rise by two-digit in 2012." More than 5 lakh jobs will be created in all sectors depending upon the governmental policies and market situation. The job market is looking up now and the credit goes to companies as they have adopted a ‘cautious optimistic' approach and experts firmly believe that the number of jobs will continue to grow in the near future.

It is expected that the IT/ITeS sector alone will generate as many as around 3 lakh jobs in 2012 and the hiring activities will go up by 7-8% in 2012. Job opportunities will grow in the next few months especially in sectors like retail, healthcare and IT & ITeS, defence, hospitality and consumer durable. Other sectors like retail, BFSI, FMCG, Hotels and Hospitality will also show some improvement in 2012.

FMCG and Pharma sector will remain constant and E-commerce will be a savior. Remunerations, again will give a reason to cheer, as the average salary will increase to at least 12 per cent, from 11 per cent in 2011.
