CISCE will announce the results for the Class XII and Class X on May 19.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will announce the results for the Class XII Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Class X Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams on this Saturday afternoon as promised by the council.

 

Earlier it was uncertain whether the council will be able declare the result on time due to pending assessment of papers and reports of answer papers gone missing. Last year, the results for both the exams were announced on May 17, two days earlier than this year's schedule. This led to anxiety among students fearing that they might not be able to catch up with the college admission procedure in June or apply for migration if they don't get the mark sheet in time. This year, 1, 32,922 students took the ICSE exam all over India, whereas 59,905 students appeared for the ISC exam countrywide. Students can check their results online after 3 pm on May 19. School principals have been issued personalized passwords to access results of their schools. (Read more)

You can check for individual results by entering your index number in the message box in the following way. For ICSE result, if your index number is S/6789/123 then type ICSE S6789123. For ISC result, if your index number is F/1234/678 then type ISC F1234678. (Read more)

 

On the other hand, the results for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X exam might get delayed by a week. Earlier, it was planned to be declared on Wednesday, but now students might have to wait till the end of May, reported Zee News.
