JNU English Department among Top 100 of QS World University Rankings

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) English department has been ranked between the 51 to 100 range in a  survey conducted by QS World University Rankings. The Centre of English Studies at JNU has received an academic ranking of 26.2 and employer ranking of 19.9 on a scale of 100.

Apart from IIT departments, no Indian department has ever had the distinction to be ranked this high in World Rankings before and to be judged one of the Top 100 English Departments in the world is a matter of pride for JNU English department.

The Top 5 positions in English Education across the world have been secured by Harvard University, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of California (Berkeley) and Yale University.
