I have been an English teacher since 1989, both in the primary and secondary section. I loved my days in DAV, Rourkela for a year only because we had a supportive who guided at each step and accepted innovative ideas gladly. Since then to whichever school I got employed there was dirty politics either with the payment structure or with the marks of the students. I had to quit my job as a teacher in one of the schools as I was pressurized to do some illegal activities.

How I made my career

I had always wanted to impart quality education and teach students in my own way. I also wanted to be my own boss and work according to ethics. I also wanted a platform where I could express my views freely.

After twenty years in 2009 I got my break. Wiziq.com gave me the exposure of giving free demo classes to students worldwide which opened the gates for me as an online teacher.

Now I teach students based both in the US and India through Skype. I also got the opportunity for freelance writing. I develop educational contents, answer questions at chegg.com, write articles and pour out my heart at Mylot.com.

I am happy today but had I got a chance again I would have appeared for the civil service examination.
