The offline Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2012-13 will be conducted on June 3, 2012 (Sunday).

The offline Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2012-13 will be conducted on June 3, 2012 (Sunday). The test will be conducted for admission to undergraduate and 5-year integrated programmes after 10+2, and post graduate & research programmes in eight Central Universities.

      Exam pattern and syllabus

       

      For all Integrated M.Sc. programmes after 10+2

       

      • Part A: 35 questions from General Knowledge and awareness (all to be answered)
      • Part B: 100 questions (65 to be answered). This will be subject related questions. 25 question each in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Life Science. If a candidate has chosen more than one Integrated M.Sc. programme as his preference, then they should answer all the 100 questions.
      • The time given is 120 minutes, if part A 35+ part B 65 questions are to be answered. Time given is 165 minutes if Part A 35+ part B100 questions are to be answered.

       

      For BA, LLB & Integrated M.Sc. Economics

       

      • Part A = 35 questions from General Knowledge and Awareness. (All to be answered)
      • Part B = 65 questions (all to be answered). The questions will be from subject specific paper.
      • The time given is 120 minutes.

       

      Note

       

      • All the questions will be in multiple choices with four answer options.
      • All questions will carry equal marks.
      • No Negative marking.

       

      Language programme:

       

      • Programmes under the stream include M.A. (English, English & Comparative Literature, Linguistics and Language Technology, M.A. Hindi, Hindi & Comparative Literature, Classical Tamil, Urdu, Integrated M.phil / Ph.D. English, Comparative Literature, Ph. D. English, Hindi).
      • All the above papers will be of descriptive type for 100 marks. The questions will be from the relevant subject.
      • The time given is 120 minutes.
