Gear up to explore new horizons after your class XII, with Rajkot's Saurashtra University, launching a unique concept allowing students passing standard XII to take admission in any stream at the undergraduate level, irrespective of the subjects studied from standard XI onwards.

According to the decision taken by academic council of the University, the students who pursued arts or commerce till standard XII can choose to pursue a graduate course in sciences and law as well, and likewise science students can pursue arts or commerce.

This equips applicants with a never before kind of freedom of choice to chart a different academic course, without being forced to follow the subjects they studied earlier.

Though a one-of-its-kind initiative by a Indian University, such a system has been prevalent abroad.
