Professional education and skill enhancement is necessary for tribal development

Laxmikant Sharma, Minister for higher education and technical education has accentuated the need for professional education and skill enhancement for the development of tribal students. He has expressed his concern during the seminar 'Tribal development in the context of Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Tribes Commission and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, in cooperation, have organized a two-day seminar. In this seminar, the minister had announced that the government has decided to open engineering colleges in tribal-dominated Jhabua and Shahdol districts. Various priorities and strategies for the development of tribal students were also discussed in the seminar.
