Pursue women and gender studies from IGNOU

Have you wanted to examine women's and gender issues from an academic perspective? It would interest you to know that the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the launch of a new course in women and gender studies.

The one-year post-graduate diploma programme is being offered by IGNOU's School of Gender and Development Studies (SOGDS).

Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply for the programme. Applications for this programme will be accepted till July 15, 2012.

The diploma is expected to be helpful to advance career prospects of professionals in media, legal sectors and NGOs.
