Round the clock support for CBSE students
The CBSE or Central Board of Education has decided to start its call center from 15 February 2012. According to Vineet Joshi, the chairman of CBSE, this step was taken with the need of a rising communication demand between the board and the students or parents. This facility will result in a successful two way communication between the parents and the board. A circular with this message was sent to all the schools. This call center is set up to answer to the queries of the students related to affiliation, scholarships examinations, academic matters and general queries etc.
Joshi informed that the Tele callers for this purpose will be outsourced by CBSE. All the hired employees will be specially trained for this job. This facility will be opened to both the students and parents. During the examination season the call center will be operational round the clock for stress related issues. The numbers for the enquiry purposes to be announced soon.
