The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has announced scholarships for technical education.

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has announced scholarships for technical education for males and females belonging to Dalit, disadvantaged Muslims and vanishing caste groups of 10 Terai district this year.

Ramesh Bakhati, controller of the CTEVT stated that this scholarship will be offered to males and females of underprivileged muslims, and vanishing caste groups of Terai districts including Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Siraha, Saptari, Banke and Kapilvastu districts.

This scholarship covers the technical subjects of nursing, health assistant, pharmacy, lab technician and passing the entrance exam is must. All those candidates who have passed SLC could apply for this scholarship.

He added that the scholarship recipient will get monthly Rs. 3,500 for tuition fee, Rs. 4,000 for clothes every year; food and living accommodation and travel costs two times a year.
